@torylva you find that scary? What about Nurgle? Being plagued with an incurable unholy disease that probably involves scabs, boils, puss, and all sorts of unpleasant symptoms over a very long period of time provided it's not cut short by you being killed be yourself or someone else (which you'd probably choose). I'd say that's a lot scarier.
They are GREAT against High Elves and Empire. I actually include at least one in each Daemon i have unless doing a devoted army. They are not an anvil unit but also find many people underestimate them and think they can just run trough them. Now the Always Strike First is great overall actually and with a Herald with and Ether Blade they do have some good hitting ability...though things such as Bloodletter are better as a hammer. Overall I think of them as with most Slaanesh is a subtle unit
For a toughness test (or Strength test, or any ability test for that matter) you roll a single D6 and compare it to the characteristic being tested against. If the roll is equal to it or lower, the test is passed. If the roll is higher or a "6", the test is failed and the model suffers the consequences.
daemonettes are high elf bashers and skaven bashers which is good because 1/2 of my game table are either skaven or high elf
