What we don't have in our country today is responsible freedom. People will burn the flag and claim it is their freedom to burn the flag. you are a peacemaker, and I appreciate you for that.We do not have freedom.We have the weakest appearance of freedom. Freedom is not the lack of being herded into cattle cars for death camps. Freedom is not the "freedom" of free speech zones or speaking the majority opinion, and carrying weapons only when, where and if the govt decrees you may protect yourself. It is not freedom for duly elected govt officials to ignore the will of the people. Socialism, communism and fascism are not freedom.

My country was not founded on much compromise.The thoughts of the day were "give me liberty or give me death" and "don't tread on me".Now that is "mean" or ""unintellectual".Rubbish.When any one of several solutions has the same effect,compromise is called for, as any of the choices are correct.When I say "the earth is not flat" and others say "the earth is flat",there can not be a compromise of "the earth is mostly flat".This is the false logic of today that is ruining the world for the masses.
