Very nice playing and tone! if you don't mind me asking how much is that guitar im really interested in it for its strong acoustic tone, thanks, and again great sound and playing.
hello, thanks for your kind post and giving your time to check out the video. The guitar is really something special....i think the retail price is around 8K less 10% at a dealer. All the best,
That's a serious fine axe my good man. Very cool guitar. Great demo. if you have the bread for Collings gear you seriously need to check out an Artinger guitar. I have a semi-hollow and love it. It's a masterpiece.
An Artinger will blow your mind. It's made by one genius guy..by hand. No CNC. And his prices are pretty dang reasonable-and has great turnaround. He was the only guy Martin guitars asked to design a model for them. It's the martin Artinger OMC. He's also a great guy to work with too. I'll post a vid of me playing it one of these days...
lol.....i'm of no help! great guitars and the 000-2H is just a killer and i'm glad you are enjoying yours! Let me know if you find that drug,....best,
hello.......and i'm so glad you got your hands on one! They are AMAZING guitars and PLEASE let me know if you bring one home! I really appreciate you getting in touch......all the best!
no worries, i'm the spell-check king! Please also consider that my video is a very poor representation of the tonal qualities of this guitar but designed to at least help people who may be interested in this model.
It sounds nice (as does your playing style), but it seems to be lacking full dynamics when you play the open position chords. I also noticed a lack of depth as you go up the neck. I've played (and own) many different guitars, each with special characteristics, but none lacking full depth. Is Collings condidering a fanned-fret build, or possibly a double-top in the near future? Those seem to be the craze with reputable builders these days, for truly full-toned guitars.
sure appreciate you watching! The guitar is a thin body design, using the pickup to my ear it has a very full sound. The mid-low end is just terrific.

Beautiful! What is that chord progression that you play around 3:05 ? Is it from a song?
LuisWahWah 1 year ago
It is the basic idea of George Benson's tune Breezin. Kind of a Dmaj7-Bm7-Em7- G/A.
thanks for watching!

Hi tonedr...
I meant "considering", not "condidering". My students (I teach guitar) would have a field day with that one. :-)
