  • Let's imagin the circle being solid. Like a dish or a frisbee. If you look at it from the top it will appear to be spinning clockwise. Look at it from the bottom it will appear to be spinning counter clockwise. This image is completely transparent giving you the illusion of being seen from the bottom and the top from the same point of view.

  • first i saw it one way then i saw it another way

  • wooohooo i have mastered it... i can see it both ways :D

  • this is annoying now!!!... i seen it going right, now its going left... and i cant get it to go to the right again... imma use this as practice and maybe i will be able to change it whenever i want

  • i looked at it going right.... then i looked at the screen from another angle.... and now its going left

  • Maybe I am getting old...but this was neat and yes you are a good person!!!!

  • It spins both ways at the same tim, just look at the very center, then pay close attention as the bottom spins one direction and the top another.

  • i can switch both at will constantly. a year ago i had a lot of trouble. meditation definitely increases the capability of the mind

  • This is actually pretty good.

Able to see both ways depending on your are above or under. Thumbs up.

  • The first two times I watched it it was only spinning right and I really thought that there was no way it could spin left then I read a comment saying it's a matter of which side you think is closest then I could only see it going left and had to restart it from the near beginning to make sure you hadn't messed with the video halfway through. Now I can very frequently make it turn going back and forth.

  • I think i have a preoblem...because when I look at pictures from a certain angle, their mouths look like they are moving, or when I stare at them a while, they can move. ITS CREEPY!

  • The real trick is to see if you can change your perspective every half rotation so the arrow is always pointing to OR away from you, instead of one and then the other. Ambidexterity for the win.

  • i see it both ways. underneath its going right. on top its goin left.

  • changing in your mind what side of the circle is closest is an easy way to see both way.

  • If I imginate that im on top of the disk, it turns clockwise, else i see it go counter-clockwise. even I challenged me to make the arrow spin without touching the "top". Funny

  • i can see both spinning to the left and right

  • Lol all i can see is clockwise :(

  • If I look from below the disk spins counter clockwise. If I look from above the disk spins clockwise.

  • I see the big thing going clockwise. But the little things in the middle going counter clockwise... Wow, that's weird.

  • it went both ways for me and my gf was watching it as well and only was seeing it go counter clockwise what does it mean

  • counter-clockwise from top view at first (right)

  • at first i didnt get it... from the second time depends on what prespective u imagine to see it it turns in other directions.

  • I can make it rotate only 180 degrees every time.

  • i thought something was going to pop out at me so i didnt pay attention i saw it both ways after i read the description though

  • all the time it was spinning right :D

  • Woah wierd, if I put my head bellow it, it moves counter-clockwise...but if I put my head above it, it moves clockwise :O

  • Left

  • i can shift it back and forth easily enough but according to the tip of the arrow, it appears to be spinning counter clock-wise.

  • According to my mental data base this optical test is 100% ligitimate.

  • Made it change left to right and if you make it change at either far left or far right side of the circle and keep changing when it get to the other side it will look like its going back and forth and speeds up and slows down. Really neat !!

  • so if u get it to turn right then left but then it goes right again but only faster then at first is tht good or bad?

  • Nice. I got to switch back and forth from top and bottom views. It was fun thanks.

  • depends if i imagine to be looking at it from above or not.

  • Depends on whether i focus on the top ring or bottom ring, it goes both ways for me.

  • i see the upper line, i am under but if i look the line below i am above it, that also changes the way of spinning and the it fells awesome.I can also control the rotation of the "spinning" hedden leaf village simbol at naruto uzumaki cronicles2 when the stuff is loadin.forgot how...

  • i can change direction when its right in the middle

  • wtf why does everyone think there going crazy or mad cuz they can switch brain hemisphere activity. that's natural as fuck you could be a dumbass and do that and be smart as shit and only see it one way. y'all got alot to learn.

  • this is a mindfuck

  • to the right ._.

  • fully can control that xD

    this interesting stuff

  • Trippy

  • i can see it go both ways

  • I can make it switch

  • I imagined myself as the line between the circle and say : "It's spinning to the right." :)

  • Interesting thing is to see who is watching that. You could say I but try to really see that I.

  • if i imagine myself under or above it it keeps spinning to the left O,o

  • Its going clockwise cause if you imagine it from an birds eye view you can see it going clockwise.

  • Clockwise

  • i can fill left and right rotation. (* ^ *)

  • That was awesome! I could switch between them :D

  • Cool. After a minute of practice I can make it switch at will.

  • clock wise

  • I paused this halfway through because I thought it was going to be one of those screamer videos. :|

  • Clockwise

  • BOTH

  • It's a matter of perspective.

  • At first I saw it going clockwise, and couldn't see it go the other way, but I really wanted to see it go counterclockwise, so I kept staring and made it go the other way. Yay! I switched over! Then I had a hard time trying to get it to go clockwise again. :P

  • is that someones eye rolling into the back of thier head????? creepyyy!

  • easy to change back and forth with this one.

  • i can see u

  • i can switch it when ever why?, am i jesus

  • @bikon48 no you just use brain the way its suppose to be used to see both sides of the coin.

  • I am looking above the disk, watching it spin clockwise while the hand spins widdershins to it.

  • I saw it going right.

  • It turns right. it just like a clock when you look from above. The clock do not turns right and left .... no just right

    Sorry for my bad english!

  • I saw both way. made myself see it both ways

  • right, the WHOLE TIME

  • i made the disc flip so the arow always were on the right side. amazing!

  • when looking above it spins clock=wise undernieth anti-clockwise

  • I see it spin only in one way .. what does it mean??

  • the first time, i saw it spinning to the right.... then tried again, and saw it spining to the left rofl, then tried once more time and saw both sides xD does it means im slow or crazy? lol

  • @kyuhan5000

Thanks for watching, it doesn't mean anything bad. It actually means you have a powerful mind, where you can manipulate moving objects mentally!

  • @kyuhan5000 What it means is that you don't know how to say clockwise or counterclockwise and you lead to further confusion in your statement

  • @Iguana1138 oh hello troll.. nobody cares ~

  • @kyuhan5000 I can change it to what I want. Some things take longer then others. Don't worry, you're not crazy. Though, I am but...

  • @kyuhan5000 same here! I think it's the way you look at it.... but it could be tht we have toatally awesome minds too:D

  • I saw it turning both directions because with what @moakhirul said

  • at one pointI saw the circle spinning clockwise, then the arrow spinning counterclockwise... ouch lol

  • Comment removed

  • I can see both way - Oh my god!! i am MAD.

  • i could see a cell phone recording it :( and...from bottom it's counterclock...from top it's clockwise...i can actually decide which one to see.....i hope i'm normal :O

  • amazing. whether you interpret your perspective as above or below the circle determines the relative spin of the figure.

  • it took a few times to see it, but after i saw it, it changed dirrections every time a blinked.

  • At the very end I saw it change! That is so cool. What for it mean? Am I losing it? Lol

  • The arc on the top is on front. If you look at the arrowhead, it goes in front of the vertical line when on the top arc, and behind the vertical line on the bottom arc.

  • I see... a forehead...

  • all i see is clockwise no matter what. idgi. what does this even mean?

  • I can make it turn in any direction at any given time, it all depends on how you see it. See it from the bottom side looking up it spins counter clockwise, look at it from the top looking down it spins clockwise, hope this helps =)

  • i can see both :) but nice try

  • counter clockwise...im a lefty maybe thats why

  • First time I watched it clockwise, second time started clockwise then changed,

  • k so how do i know if I'm right brained or left brained from this?

  • both ways, same time

  • does it slow down at times . or did i burst a vein in my head from concentrating too hard

  • I look at the bottom when the arrow passes through that, and it's spinning counter clockwise. Look at the top when the arrow is pointing at it, and it spins clockwise. I can see both and switch, and I was able to see it within ten seconds. O-o

    So cool!

  • I watched the first time and it started spinning clockwise. I went back to the start again and it started turning counter clockwise........

  • That Just Blew My Mind. Half Way Through I Zoned In More, And It Switched Directions.. c:

  • you know I think you can sync your right and left hemisphere thought patterns by alternating your perspective so each half is spinning in another direction...

  • that was awesome!

  • aaaaah..thats scary. wtf do i have inside of my head?! :D

  • spinning the same way,,,,,,just different perspective ,top and bottom ,,if you look at something spinning from the top and bottom its all the same ,JUST AN ILLUSION :D

  • whhen i#m on it it#s going clockwise..and when i#m below, its anty clockwise!

  • when looking at it as if its on the same level as i am, it went clock wise, but when imaginging i was under, it went counter clock wise! super coolll!!

  • Heres the Fact! If Your Left Handed You can See it in the First Place it is Spinning from Left to Right. and if your Right Handed it will spin from Right to Left and Also if you look above the Disk thingy it will rotate from Right to Left. and Vice Versa. Lol!!

  • You can see it both ways, but if it was actually 3d, it would be spinning clockwise because it wouldn't appear that way if it was actually three dimensional.

The arrow gets smaller on the lower half, making it seem to be further away. If you look at it the other way, it doesn't make any three dimensional sense. So, in reality, this test wouldn't ever be able to work unless you were able to create something that changed size as it moved, or something complicated like that lol

  • @kezdodik1

At first I imagined that I see its up surface, then noticed from the shape of arrow that it is opposite,

so I forced my imagination to correct the direction!

I hope my simple eng. lang. is clear!!

  • accually it doesn't spin lol.. it just bounces from left to right... or right to left which ever way you want lol.

  • I feel a bit sick, does that count?

  • if u consider ur self on top of disk, its clockwise. and if u feel ur self under the disk, its anticlockwise. Simple!!! :)

  • I see which ever way I damn well feel like!

  • i see both ways

  • ....all i see is something spinning...

  • i can see both ways

  • did anyone else see the giant creepy eye in the background?

  • this ones easier it depends on your perspective

  • right

  • i can see both too

  • this is genious or dumb. clearly one way only T_T atleast for me

  • i seen it 3 ways. going left, right and circle...

  • i can see it spining bith ways...

  • I can see both ways. It's all about the angle I intend on perceiving it at. If I look at it from the "top" as if I were looking down on it, it appears clockwise. If I look at it from the "bottom" as if I were looking up at it, it spins the opposite direction. I do think that it is actually spinning clockwise though.

  • at first it was spinning to the right but then when I focused just below the disk it started going to the left, lol. trip!

  • Just focus on the circle

  • I saw a spinning projection. At first, it was turning clockwise, then anti-clockwise, then clockwise. The video then froze, even though the buffer was already full. It went black and I saw three lights. These three lights were vivid and flashed all sorta of colours, some I didn't even know existed. It then froze and a face appeared. This face was of the most vividly detailed, with every emotion being portrayed at once.

It faded back to the video, and it was spinning both ways.

  • This doesn't actually test for right brain or left brain. It has more to do with perception than it does with what side of the brain you use.

  • cool this is the first of this pictures where i can change direction really fast ;)

  • I SAW GOD!!!

  • @mistressmon i saw you and i didnt like it...

  • both ways, if i am under it is turning right, if im above turning left

  • It's stationary with only small oscillations‘.

  • I see both a zenith and also it going the opposite directon so it keeps going back in forth in the same quadrant

  • to the left or clock wise. am I left or right brained then?

  • clockwise

  • clockwise :P

  • clockwise

  • So this is what the geeks of the world do while the rest of us are out having a life.

  • i can see both and it spins clockwise both ways

    what dose that mean.

  • perspective is from below, spinning clockwise.

  • Top view, spins clockwise, and the bottom view spins counter-clockwise.

  • the trick to see it spin both ways is to imagine looking at the object from above and below.

  • i can see too both directions. nice work ^^

  • That was awesome.....NOT!

  • i can see both ways with will

  • it isn't necessarily going either way... either focus on the top of the halo or the bottom... if you focus on the top and imagine it closest to you it will be spinning clockwise, if you focus on the bottom and imagine it closest to you it will spin counter clockwise. :)

  • @lukiusjohn or maybe its the opposite.

  • I can see both directions

  • It's not a disk it's an oval made of two arcs on the lower arc the line move right to left while the other left to right while a line rotate clockwise which length is that on the oval.

    ANSWER NEITHER ! It's not a disk it a computer graphic !

  • both

  • clockwise

  • I see both at the same time xD

  • its spinning to the right which makes it counter clockwisse cause its spinning to the right

  • I'm under and it's spinning counter-clockwise , no other option is possible because of the subdivisions on the circle they are bigger when nearer and smaller when farer;and this is forcing the under-the-circle position.

  • If your looking at it as from the top it's clockwise, if you looking at it as from below it's counterclockwise.

So, what is the secret of life?

  • Guys... there are 3 options

  • clockwise what does this mean

  • Imagining looking from below and above, it's still turning clockwise.

  • it goes counter clockwise then clockwise. Both directions.

  • Clockwise

  • This is really hard to do. First look up at it, in the middle of half the spin, look down at it and it changes directions, then the hard part is to look up at it again and make it change direction a second time.

  • If you look up at the center it spinds counter clockwise, if you look down at the center it spins clockwise.

  • It looks like it changes direction on either side where it always points towards the image in the background

  • It's going clockwise! How simple...

  • @bevstover its going both clockwise and counter clockwise, as interpreted by your brain. its an optical illusion. what the description is trying to say is imagine if the image were a disk with an arrow drawn on each side. now, as it spins, imagine looking at the object from the point of view of both underneath the imaginary disk, and above it. if you are looking from above it should be going counter clockwise. if you are looking from below, it should be spinning clockwise. Do you see it?

  • if you want to get technical about this it not actually spinning its an image on a screen it transfers light to make it appear to move

  • I guess I missed something

  • Above view and Clockwise. Lower view Counter clockwise.

  • i can see both...? when i'm above it, it turns clockwise, when I place myself under the disc it goes the opposite way....was does that say??

  • left and right... if you imagine to look from above, its turning clockwise....opposite if you imagine to look from under the disc :P Easy

  • stupid

  • Clockwise from the above view

Counter Clockwise from the under view

  • It's what u choose2 make Closer/Further.

Make the lower part closer& the higher part further..Clockwise Right-side thinker

Make the higher part closer& the lower part further..Counter Clockwise Left-side thinker
