@wittgensteindrums He tries different things all the time. In August I saw Rush in Auburn, WA. I watched some previous solos from the TM tour, where he was doing way too much e-stuff. But when he got to Auburn, his solo was mostly acoustic. And the best I have seen him play. But that seemed to be an exceptional night for all 3 of them.
ive noticed... all my friends who drum an all these rocks stars that are right handed roll with the same way, im right handed but i roll left handed. Is that wierd, i guedd its the way i learnd cause im self taught.
@nosamcuminhand1 lool saying that peart is better than bohnam is understandable... but THAT better... thats funny, your funny... Go see bonham's work before posting barbaric comments... Bonham never had lessons... he had a sense for music that noone ever had, the fastest right foot ever and had 1/8 of neil's drum kit. Neil is fabulous but so is bonham. And Im not a fan of zeppelin talking. ive seen both of their work and consider bonham better just as well some people consider kupra better.
@PicKPiT then u must not play drums. look up neil pearts buddy rich tribute and his set is smaller than bonhams there and if u can still tell me u think bonham is half as good as peart then ur a fuckin moron
@nosamcuminhand1 lol actually I play drums but thats not the point... I cant sing shit and I know that know beats freddie nor aretha... And as I said technicaly noone scratches neil peart... he is one of the best without a doubt... But bonham was amazing not only by his feeling but also for his inovative style... Neil is king of drum solos and practically explored all of drums sounds and is a fucking gifted drummer. that means he is untouchable?
@PicKPiT (Continuation) gene Kupra did not do half the things that peart does but is one of the best because with his sound and energy gave drums a complete new dimension as an instrument. Oh and by the way... good drummers arent measured only by their solos -.-'' listen to good times bad times john bonham plays with one pedal only... but if youre not satisfied listen to his solo live 1973 and if u can still tell me u think peart is a ton times better than bonham then you only listen to peart
@nosamcuminhand1 its not a question of playong it or not... he invented the triplets with 20 years old without lessons! Copying is easy, making it is hard... im not saying that bonham hicks peart's ass... Im saying that both along with gene kupra are the best and most influencial drummers of all times... But I like bonham's sound better...
I love how he even has a fucking path to get in the middle. Now that's sick.

I don't share Peart's enthusiasm for electronic effects, I prefer acoustic. But this man's tempo is flawless. you could set a metronome by him.

@PicKPiT Bohnam didnt invent the tripeletts, its an old music piece. Ive played tripletts on my Sax, guitar, bass, and piano.
aaronaaronjarvis 1 year ago
@PicKPiT No John Bonham did not at all "invent" triplets. They've been around for a long time, just listen to classical music.
