  • Powerful....what an inspiration...

  • beautiful song.

  • this song makes everythin better .... :))

  • I love this song. It's so beautiful. This makes me want his whole album. I cannot get enough of this song! -flamewolf

  • hiyaaaaaa

  • Translation: "Let us eclipse the the sun and the moon with our spiritual and emotional being,

and let us transcend these physical barriers and negativity which have made us a nation of one.

May the winds of time put into motion this feeling we share with our Mother Earth and this universe ...till the end of time.

May the creator bestow upon us a grand sense of unity and peace which we will continue to pass on to our people, wherever they reside."

  • @Kazekane are you native?

  • Thumbs up if Sippycuptv brought you here

  • As many of you, I live in a modern society. I am studding Electronic Engineering, at a public technological university here in Argentina. Sometimes I feel really stressed, and I grab my mountain-bike, some food and water, and then I peacefully live civilization head on to the real nature or to the real world. When you ride your bicycle trough nature, you brain works differently, your health improves, and you start to understand the meaning of freedom. just remember to use your bicycle.

  • @guillemeza343 good wisdom .

    P.B.

  • I have just read some of the comments on here and it never ceases to amaze me the amount of hatred some people have within them towards fellow human beings. I am from N.Ireland so I know only to well what happens when differing cultures and religions dont agree. I love this music and respect all colours of people no matter what their religion or non religion is. Its a short live so live it and let other people live theirs.

  • ❤ :)

  • I love this. I come from a pioneer background. Before my grandfather died, he made small talk of Cherokee in our family blood. Nothing very clear. What I do know for certain is I have been drawn to Native American since 5 yrs old. No answer for the why of it. I am only in a constant longing for something that I cannot seem to find. A need that seems to never fill. A desire that is never met. My mind whirls with images and I dance to this song alone and no one truly understands why..not even me

  • I love this.

I was impressed by the scene of the dance.

Thank you very much ! !

  • 0:22 macho man

  • i just love this

  • i wanna hear this song before i take my last breath, so i can die with a smile on my face!

  • @paladindarknite loved your comment.. thank you :)

  • I can only describe this as hauntingly beautiful

  • PURE MOODS... I was 7 when I listened to this song.

  • Not to offend anyones understanding of this song but I'm Navajo and I know what this song means. It's a Navajo shoegame song that the Navajos sing when the opposing team is hiding a yucca ball in moccasins filled with dirt. It's saying that the giant is crying and wants the opposing team to hide the ball in the sane place so he would find it. This song is only supposed to be sung in the winter when the shoegame sung in winter too, is played. I love this song. The shoegame is a game between the

  • @TheDragonfire5000 I know what this song means, too. I also think this is a fantastic song. I'm just angry about what I see in the video. for example at 1:17. There you see a Catholic indian centrum. What a nonsense. I always thought they are native americans and not indians and those who believe in manitou, or am I wrong? Maybe someday they can live again as did their ancestors. I would like it wish for them

  • @TheDragonfire5000 what an honour to meet you :) i love your people very fascinating to me :)

  • @TheDragonfire5000 Hello! I realy LOVE this song, Is one of my favourites. It give me peace when i am melancholy. You say that you know what it means.... Can you traduce it for me, please? (Sorry if my english isn't good enough to tell you how much i admire your culture)

  • 33 people have no ears and have no respect for the native americans

  • humanity as we have finished with the most beautiful of American Natib k lands their cultures more harmful in the world we live k

  • I'm not at all a native american but i feel really connected with this people who endured too much things during the past...

Anyway, now it's the present, nothing can be repared, and i ask to you, natives americans to keep spreading your culture. I wish too that this heritage be the future of humanity because at my mind it's simply the good way that all of us should be.

ps : forgive my english, i'm french.

  • the girl at 2:26 is beautiful i want to marry her

  • The most beautiful song I have ever heard. Long live the native American spirit. It is that spirit that made this country great, brave and proud.

  • Anybody know where i could find just the vocals without the instruments?

  • @IrishSweetums87 you being and irish american, it's possible you have native american ancestors.

  • Have you this video in better quality? Can you upload and give a link please

  • @Weydson10 Inkakike - Yeha-Noha - Edited by Rafe Freeman :)

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. It is a beautiful piece.

  • @josefidencior Hermoso!!! Gracias!

  • I love this kind of music!!! Someone knows what the lyrics means?? (sorry if my english isn't good enough)

  • @yosandru it means "wishes of happines n' prosperity" more or less

  • The hit parade of my birthday :D 1st september 95

  • Love this video! As I am part Native American, my soul really feels this music. Anyone know what film this is? Is it from a documentary? I'd love to buy a DVD of the film. Thanks

  • "O velho" Navajo de Chinle: Kee Chee Jake...

  • I love American Indians, First Nation Indians, all of them (but then again I love everyone) lol :) they are such beautiful people

  • my uncle just died and he was of this tribe! he had a way of making me smile, always!

  • respect for this culture

  • I love this song and video so much! It's beautiful~ As for the hater comments below..who cares what color you are or what our ancestors did. There were wrongs and rights on all sides. It's up to us to be sure the WRONGS never happen again. Stop the hating over color of skin. It really doesn't matter. There are two things that happen to all mankind..you are born and you die. Hopefully everything in between makes the human race a better place for the next generations to come. Peace and much love~

  • Beautiful music and video!

  • @borneo215 Also who are you kidding, do you think the Native Americans like you white people? YOU KILLED THEM OFF, you have stolen their land, look at the latest Arizona leaks, they show your kind is literally trying to kill off the Mexicans anyway they can, EVERYONE HATES YOU, go to the middle east, guess who is hated? Go to CHINA, guess who is hated? GO TO LIBYA, GUESS WHO IS HATED? Lol...Here is the real one, GO TO NORTH FUCKING KOREA, and oh...guess who is HATED? Yes, you nazi.

  • @borneo215 And please, native americans and blacks were mixing, go down to FLORIDA or south america where you will find the 'mixed' breeds. Like honestly, what exactly do you know about history other than what they taught you in your little fancy books. I am sure you think the Chinese like you better too right? LOl PATHETIC. I hope the chinese buy your country with cash. Our history was destroyed so that you can enslave us but look around, the MEXICANS are taking over US, THANK your "GOD"!

  • wow the girl in the video is so pretty

  • @DBlockn05 Noone kills more of their brothers than you black people do so shut the hell up with your bullshit. I'm a white and native American mix and I know better than to hate whites in general simply because rich capitalist assholes have always ruined the world. But guess what, those rich "white people" in control don't care about other white people any more than they care about anyone else. They care about power and money at what seems to be whatever cost.

  • @Master7770 i agree bro i hate these blacks think they are better than others funny thing is they just about destroyed this country with there gang shit drugs pollution ghettos than he has the nerve to come here and say that btw im not white i just feel that people spreading bullcrap should look at themselves before cursing others

  • @Master7770 Oh really? Is that so? Take a look around the world, add up the prison population of white people in Europe(especially russia) and add up the white population prison in Canada and the US. Guess who has more people in Prison for crimes? Ya... YOU guessed it, it's white people. Like, are you AN IDIOT or what? Do you know the racial discrimination that is happening? Have you not read any of the Wikileaks or the LulzSec leaks? Stop shoving that mcdonald burger and learn.

  • 0:22 Native people are soo beautiful *-*

hehe I also mean all of them and their culture.

I cant stop thinking how our world should be without christianism on america.

    =/

  • fuck modern civilizations. i want to be as free, true human being with respect for nature as native americans were before Columbus arrived there... go to school, get a job, work for almost rest of your life, pay taxes, watch tv, retire, watch more tv, die.... damn, am i the only one who feel that don't fit in this kind of society?

  • @Maudzer you're right at 100%

  • @Maudzer So you're an anarchist?

  • @GreenBottleCap nope.

  • @Maudzer You're definitely not the only one. May you find your peace.

  • @Maudzer lol but ur still like "Okay"

  • @Maudzer THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST COMMENT ON YOU TUBE .TOTALLY TRUE I THINK MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE FELLING LIKE THIS AND IN THE END THERE WILL BE A WORLD WIDE UPRISING THE RICH GET RICHER WHILE THE POOR GET SCREWED.

  • @Maudzer No man,i'am with you!

  • @Maudzer You are far from the only one.

  • @Maudzer

No, you are not the only one. Nothing wrong with being a free spirit, although control freaks and oppressors would find something wrong with people who don't conform to their made up standards of fake living.

  • @Maudzer celebrate your existence

  • @Maudzer You're not alone.

  • I am a Native, and i find some parts of this video hilarious! It has a good sound, but come on, there are sooo many stereotypical clips in here....I ain't saying they aren't true...it's just not all natives are addressed like this...

  • @mespacetoday Same, my grandfather is native america and his entire family before him hated America and the white man, they burned the American flag every chance they had.

  • @mespacetoday hahahaa i know what you mean lol

  • Thumbs up if the 1976 Papa New Guinea tribe video brought you here. Stunning.

  • @forzazzurri that video was the "then" if we saw the "now" video do you think they'd all have ipods and credit cards?

  • @forzazzurri nope, i knew what I searching for :)

  • @tmaccism Don't forget Alaska.

  • 0:24 Sweet Jesse!

His hair is almost as good as mine.

  • 0:30 I want that, oh! I want sundaes.. oh! I want sundaes.. charge 'em on da card. I want that.. oh! I want sundaes, oh! I want sundaes.. and I no have :(

  • Always found Native Americans amazing!

  • I've listened to this song so many times that I can sing it myself now, and have to stop myself from doing it, because this song is supposed to be sung by a shaman only, or so I've heard. And I am not one.

  • man she is so beautiful im Native this video is so to true to the soul i just hope one day i can find one

  • I freakin luv this song!!!! I always listen to it! :)

  • Love the song. Brings me closer to my native american roots. :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

i do not mind color or religion, i do mind the inside of people!!!

i'm white and my man is Native American and we love each other,

so what about color or religion, we are ALL HUMAN!!!

Peace and respect for all people of Mother Earth!!!!

  • Shea Keck!! now that would be a mutt!!

  • Mutt like white's??? Since when were whites mutts??? The white race is a pure race! It doesn't matter if I was born in the USA, Germany, Ireland, or anywhere in Europe for that matter. Just because a white has relatives from different WHITE countries doesnt make him a mutt, that is all an one white race. The same is true of native's that would be for example a Seneca/ Cherokee. Are they a mutt because they ate from two tribes? Or unless you are making reference to the whites that interbreed with

  • I don't know I ain't here to hate...but.... Hmmm.. Nevermind I don't feel like fighting with anoyone and their opinions lol. Sorry....but this song is the shyte seriously.... Damn Makes me happy to be Native....At Least I am Unique....not a Mutt like whites.... but ya know what? i ain't talking about whites either...why? My girl friend is white and I love her to death :)

  • @Datalyss

ok then it's confirmed you are a dumbass clueless American idiot

  • @Datalyss

at 2:30 the U.S. flag = Nazi flag. After all the U.S. flags kills and commits genocide all over the world

  • The Native Americans remind the European descended people of the bond that they had with Nature before the Christian church spread out across Europe during the Dark Ages. Sympathetic magic rituals, dancing, singing, feeling the flow of the Life Force, shaping it, flowing with it, instead of blocking it, denying it, corrupting it. We are estranged from our selves, lost in materialistic nightmares.

  • Wow! There is something so deep and spiritual to this. Thank you for sharing it!

    What a find!

  • AUA AUA ZAHNWEH!

  • Swastika is used today in Mongolia, too. Many buddhits interprete is as a long, happy life sign. By the way, I am German and I lived there (Mongolia). So Swastika is much older as this ordinary soldier from Austria who became Germanys leader because the Germans didn´t know anything better at this time!

  • Belissima musica!

    I love it... beautiful-

  • YEHA-NOHA to u all,the saddest and most angering aspect is the red skin indians as they once proudly called themselves but now to be called native americans(a title giving by white man in recent years) were called savages and look at how the old west white settlers lived n how some acted, like animels, yet the natives to the americas were the savages,u tell me who's realy the savages in this story ??

  • In ancient days swastika

    Posessed a magic charm

    And shielded its possessor

    From dangers and from harm

To you it brings Good Wishes

And if i had the power

'Twould bring you all that life holds dear

    This very day and hour...

  • why do some of the images have nothing to do with the 1st nations?

  • why did they had to ruin the video by showing image of Nazi U.S. flag.

  • @khadijaq i think swastika meant something entirely different to indians then what hitler used it for.

  • @johndebbra

I am referring to U.S. flag as Nazi flag

  • Simply Beautiful

  • I sound just like him! I should make a vid. proving it and I'm not native american descent(i think, it'd be cool though, such a noble and peace-ful culture).

  • When MTV was music!

  • very peaceful all the respect to the native American heritage from egypt

  • very peaceful all the respect to the native American heritage

  • Im a proud Native American (Navajo Tribe) I love my mother earth, and I understand what America has become, and soon to what is going to become of mother earth! Stop the war, and stop The Hating!

  • @monsterdrinkers97 That's awesome. My ancestors were on the East coast first contact so they were pretty much wiped out. I had ancestors that fought with Dragging Canoe against the Federal Gov't and others that fled to the hills in Georgia; so in other words never went "near" the gov't so they're not on any "rolls". In other words to the Gov & federally recognized tribes my ancestors mean nothing and they don't want anything to do with us. That goes for native americans & the Gov't; so be it!

  • The sad part is Indians have simply traded one master for another.

Now they follow their own leaders, white educated glorified panhandlers who line their own pockets while whispering lies in their peoples ears....and the large majority of Indians on reserves live in a sickening, mind numbing vortex of grinding poverty, alcoholism, drug abuse, violence, malnutrition, misery and death...there is no future in self pity and groundless expectation....a handout is a handout...its time to move on...

  • I love being Native & I love our people!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I listen to this all the time, Lynn...Maliseet from Tobique First Nation, NB, Canada. What a great production. All my relations

  • Can anyone put re-do this video in HI-DEF? I think it would look great!

  • If only we had listened to our forefathers.

  • @proudy3912 The forefathers predicted the downfall of the Native American by the white brother because the forerfathers did not heed the advice of their ancestors.

  • I got the "homesickness" feeling.........

  • I got the "homesickness" feeling

  • São lindoss demais!!!! a musica é encantadora...amu eles!!

  • This is one of my favorite songs Lovely and profound

  • Esta melodía es hermosa tiene tanta profundidad nativa es preciosa gracias

  • beautifull amazing and beautifull again!

  • I love native americans. I find it fascinating the way they live and do everything.

This song actually makes me feel peaceful and happy. When I was a baby my mum used to play it to me and it was the only thing that helped me get to sleep at night.

  • i want i want sundaes...I want I want sundaes!

  • hi from scotland thanks again this music wonderful best wishes

  • thank you again pure pleasure to my scottish ears ur music sooo relaxing just love these tunes thanks for upload

  • I find the Native American very fascinating. Their culture. Their language. Everything. Things should never be forgotten. What and who they are do not matter. They are people. We are all the same too. I have 1/3 of Native blood in me. But it isn't from the Native American's in the USA. Its from the Natives of Brazil's forest. :D I would love to meet a Native American in person.

  • @TaintedFantasia I would love to meet a native american from usa in person aswell...But give yourself credit, you ARE NATIVE AMERICAN!..areyou pure? No,you just said you were 1/3 but it does not mean you are not part native american...And i saw alot of Native Americans in this video that looked very similar if any different to alot of mexican, central, south americans and cubans puerto ricans etc...My cuban friend looks ALOOT like the girl at 3:19 haha lets be proud!,i know i am to have mayan :)

  • @TaintedFantasia This is because of the publicity, specially the movies! Which in itself is not a bad thing!

But there are many other cultures out there, ancient ones as well, that are as fascinating as the amer-indians' from north!

For example, some amer-indian drawings and motifs are found in some old cultures from eastern europe! People from western europe are making fun of that because, well...they either don't understand it or because it didn't recieve the proper publicty!

  • @TaintedFantasia Lol, you cant have 1/3 of some blood. You can have 1/2, 1/4, 3/4, 5/8, ... but never 1/3 :-D

  • This is what the audible portions of the song say...

... shaa ninánóh'aah (you guys give it back me)

... Yé'iitsoh jinínáá léi' (... The Giant says again & again...)

    ... ninánóh'aah (...give it back)

During the shoe game, the Giant couldn't find the yucca ball and started crying. This song is about that part of the story.

  • Yá'át'ééh, does anybody have a proper translation of the lyrics?.. I've found something on wikipedia but it doesn't seem to be complete...thx

  • @tykvun This is what the audible portions of the song say...

... shaa ninánóh'aah (you guys give it back me)

... Yé'iitsoh jinínáá léi' (... The Giant says again & again...)

    ... ninánóh'aah (...give it back)

During the shoe game, the Giant couldn't find the yucca ball and started crying. This song is about that part of the story.

  • @gottspieler Thx, but that is what wikipedia says, but i can here more audible portions in the song...nevermind

  • @tykvun no, i didn't get that from wikipedia..i posted it here awhile back after a Navajo friend translated it for me..it may have ended up on wikipedia but if so, i was unaware of it until now...do you mean by "audible portions" all portions you can hear? I simply meant all portions that are intelligible

  • @gottspieler ah, allright then:) thx

  • if u have nothing good to say shut up

  • if u have nothing good to say shut up

  • The whole album was great. It helped me a lot. I do hope we all can find again the connection with the Nature and the Spirit/God/Light.

  • I'm in a hospice care facility for liver disease and I was told I should meditate to forget my problems if only for a little while. I heard this song on Pure Moods and now I put on my headphones in my room and it helps me escape. I am part Native American and am now researching my roots thanks to this song. I love it.

  • it's amazing :)) just enjoy the music!! look beyond borders.. we're all human, made out of the same flesh and blood.. cheers and peace V

  • Great song some people are pricks some times this song is awesome

    !!

  • This is a beautiful video, I don't know what they are saying, but I know what the dance is and I can understand a little, I have someone that told me about the dance, it is something very sacred..it is very beautiful, and this is one of my favorite video's on you tube, in fact one of my favorite of all time. Thank you.

  • You make me so sad and so angry same time!

WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE HAVE TO ARGUING EVERY TIME?!?!?!

  • THIS is America's culture...

if you don't like it you have no appreciation of life...

  • who the hell dislikes this vid?

  • native americans discust me

  • @ninlandon Go fuck yourself you stupid cunt!

  • @ninlandon - Then by all means, please feel free to go back to wherever in the hell you came from (dumbass)

  • @MrArgonaut1 im from america get u native ass out my land i dont care who was here first back then and i dont care now all i care about is who has the biggest gun faggit and thats me

  • @ninlandon hey asshole; i'm from america too, everybody talks about equality, peace, and trying to push forward as a society. Don't you think you being contradictory to the american lifestyle? Everybody from america are pretty much immigrants; except for the actual NATIVE americans who have watched over the land and taken care of it. Have you noticed how schools in america have people from all different backgrounds? America is one of the most diverse places on earth. Don't be so fucking ignorant

  • @MusicianX2 white people still are more supioreior

  • @ninlandon Shut up

  • why do we discust u? @ninlandon

  • @lala0001cheep u smell like ass

  • Still waiting for a Native American president....

  • @RickyPrescott

You're just going to have to settle for our current President : Bill Clinton (Cherokee) & his wife Hillary Clinton (in her auto-biographic book); whom, both, have claimed to have Native Heritage. (yes, I said current....;)

  • @corrottov111 Snakes maybe, NOT Cherokee!

  • who have set dont like is gay... because this song is wonderful !

  • We should all have to follow the natives nature ideas. See what we are doing to mother nature today : (

  • Such a beautiful song,...I am so proud to be of American Indian descent ~ Cherokee
