@sitearra27 Id have to disagree with it being the best i do beleive its a badass gekegenkai and that gentle fist is beauutiful style but the sharigan especialy the mangekyo sharingan has quite an advantage over that of the byakugan and the blocking of the chakra points can only happen if they get near you so if you stay at a distance like itachi does for most fights you would be fine so there are advantages to both but one is definatly not completely better then the other

So Itachi would just use his Tsukyomi and after that the battle is over. If u match the strength of Itachi and Neji at Narutopedia, Itachi far exceeds Neji. Not only is Itachi the master of ninjutsu and genjutsu, he's also as strong at taijutsu and has high intelligence. Neji is no match for Itachi
@Lythya Sharingan is based having insight into the opponents movements (anticipation to the level of seeing the future). I doubt any Byakugan user could use gentle fist or an other taijutsu to hit a high level sharingan user very well, especially at the eyes.

Overall, Sharingan is stronger than Byakugan for the reason that Mangekyou Sharingan exists. The potential is MUCH greater. Oh yeah, and as of now, the current Hyuuga characters have less speed than the current Uchiha characters. Madara-Sasuke-Itachi are all far superior to Hinata-Neji.

I know why Naruto still chases Sakrua even if Hianta saved her life. Well its not the best reason but it still works.

u all should read the manga if u dont already, it was amazing she confesses her love to naruto, hes shocked, pain attacks and nearly kills hinata then naruto goes from normal to 6 tail demon form in like an instant. he almost goes full nine tails but stuff happens. read the manga online at onemanga.com to learn more

@thegamer29 Actually, its Episode I think 167. Its online. And actually, Pain DOES kill her, along with Kakishi. But then, Nagato used a jutsu that revives everyone he's killed, but the drawback is that he is killed from using too much chakra.

byakugan can be used against any opponent however the sharingan is limited because "even if you can see a move it doesn't matter if you can't counter it" in the words of Rock Lee who proved in the short duel he had with sasuke although I think it would be a very close match between Neji and Itachi who are both supposed to be the most gifted from teir clans

I admit, Neji is strong, but he doesn't have epic ninjutsu OR genjutsu. Unlike the Sharingan, Neji with his Byakugan won't be able to stop Tsukyomi while he hasn't trained his eyes for that. So Itachi would just use his Tsukyomi and after that the battle is over. If u match the strength of Itachi and Neji at Narutopedia, Itachi far exceeds Neji. Not only is Itachi the master of ninjutsu and genjutsu, he's also as strong at taijutsu and has high intelligence. Neji is no match for Itachi

Just think about it: Sharingan runs on chakra, and by touching the tenketsu, a Byakugan/Gentle fist user can block chakra.
Aka. if a Hyuuga member blocked Sasuke's tenketsu at his eyes, he couldn't use Sharingan.

@Lythya Sharingan is based having insight into the opponents movements (anticipation to the level of seeing the future). I doubt any Byakugan user could use gentle fist or an other taijutsu to hit a high level sharingan user very well, especially at the eyes.

@crusaderkillerX Lee once said that it doesn't matter if you predict the movement if you can't move fast enough. So in that case it's all about speed. Hyuuga still has the upper hand here, too. If gentle fist manipulates chakra, they should be capable of opening the seven gates.
And illusions would be week on a Byakugan, too. They're eyes are more detailed than the sharingan/mangekyou.

@Lythya I'd love to see a hyuuga fight Amaterasu's black flames with palms, or Kamui's warp hole effect with palms. Overall, Sharingan is stronger than Byakugan for the reason that Mangekyou Sharingan exists. The potential is MUCH greater. Oh yeah, and as of now, the current Hyuuga characters have less speed than the current Uchiha characters. Madara-Sasuke-Itachi are all far superior to Hinata-Neji.

@Lythya depens on the oponent.... there is no such hyuuga member at sasuke s level.. either... at itachi or madara s .. so .. as the kyuubi said.. the sharingan and mangekyou sharingan has a dark chakra so its different... you cant beat black fire or a super ilusion either susanoo with your hand.. trust me sorry for bad english

@omicromgamma agree with you ! Hyuga is a great clan and byagukan is cool and has cool jutsus but can't do nothing agains sharingan . Sharingan has advanced forms such as Mangekyou Sharingan or Ethernal MS . But anyway , this theme is awesome.

@Lythya That may be, but with a grown sharingan such as sasuke's, would predict the moves of the byakugan user and/or even catch him under a genjutsu
