Sempre viajo pela TAP quando vou ao Brasil,saio desde Madrid,eu nunca tive nenhum tipo de problemas,com essa empresa,em materia de navegaçao aerea, e maritima tem que tirar o chapeu para os portugueses, a TAP teve dois acidentes ate hoje segundo me disse um portugues,para alguem que tem panico de voar ,uma empresa e pilotos como o da TAP nos da uma segurança,e tranquilidade a mais,parabens a todos da TAP.

Isto está bem documentado. Sim, ele praticou antes no simulador, e sim foi autorizado pela TAP.
Um a310 não é brinquedo e a TAP não brinca aos aviões, se ele tivesse feito alguma coisa que não devia, tendo posto uma máquina de milhões de euros em sério risco, teria sido imediatamente posto na rua.
Isto só mostra os bons profissionais que temos na nossa companhia áerea comercial. Bens ajam, de muitas viajens que já fiz foi sempre na TAP que viajei, tenho 100% de confiança. Sois óptimos profissionais. Não podemos só falar das coisas más...

Pilot knows exactly what ground clearance has the wingtip when flying at X altitude with Y bank angle and necessary speed to avoid stall even in case of one engine failure.
To fly without know this data is a fool way to fly, but to maintain its license, that pilot HAS te know all those parameters.

did u read what Tuckie said? There are instruments in the cockpit to show that info to the pilot. Airbus avionics are one of the most modern in the world, even with old models like this one.

It was an American who did a barrell roll in a 707 back in the day, I don't think we care too much about that stuff. Well, maybe the nanny-state liberals do. I hope you don't have many of those types over there in your country.
The pilot performed this maneuver several times, and it was planned not a fluke! This was also practiced hundreds of times in the flight simulator.
T.A.P. is getting these aircraft replaced with newer models, so it was a farewell spectacle, and the pilot was showing off his skills with a passenger aircraft.
That is very poor judgement of the pilot, making such a sharp turn with a passenger jet at an airshow. To bad we have idiots flying us around everyday.

I think the TAP A310 pilot is another Bud Holland wanabe. I would ground and not let him fly unless his attitude on safety improves.

All the maneuvers had been made in a safe area.
This is to demonstrate that AIRBUS machines are, globally, much better then Boeing.
This aeroplane arrived at the end of its days, after this show go for abating.
What we must apreciate is the ability of the pilot to control the machine. That's all.

No not you - that's the trouble with comments being displayed in two different formats. If you click on 'show all comments' you can see who I was replying to. But displayed in chronological order you can't and it looks like I was saying it to you.
I think it is actually the person who designed the comment system here who should be shot.
