Well. I actually played both. After mine opinion, I think BF3 was awesome, MW3 on the other side, was all the same. Same monitor and pretty much same weapons as well. I really used to enjoy the Call of Duty-Series, but the problem is that they've always been sticking to the same stuff, and that could be sad at some parts. Anyway, MW3 seems like an okay game.

mw3 is a very cute game, being not as realistic or cool as bf3. comparing how the game works mw3 feels a littel silly. mw3 is more for lower ages than bf3, but if you want easy action mw3 is much better. starting to play bf3 it will be very dificult to go back to cod.

You said it best...MW3 is an arcade style game. There isn't any defense in MW3, it's just constant attacking. Even when you take a point it's almost impossible to hold a point. Random spawning makes it hard to do anything as a team. You die and spawn no where near your teammates. If you like no tactics and running and gunning then MW3 is what you're looking for. You can't even flank the opposing players. It's clustered way to much for any type of thought. It's just shooting and shooting...

Why are they called realistic shooters? Any game where you shrug off bullets like you're half fridge, can jump off buildings, spin a thousand times and then headshot some guy carrying two shotguns with a .50 cal, and shoot pilots outta jets and then take them in mid-air is not realistic.
