I've surfed there in October.Honestly since S.F. Ca. has cold water too it's not much worse plus no scary drop off or huge undertow.

40 degrees, it's always that cold in Maine....but no sharing the waves either.

That was the temp in May. now it's in the low 60's.

i was out at higgins that morning... one of the best days ive had

there were 10 or so out surfing the big waves !

good thing for off shore storms.
