@Generalsplatton I REALLY love the scythe you did paint and the skin tone. Excellent done even on close ups! Would even be a good painting recepy fore the followers Slaanesh the daemonettes alike.
@Generalsplatton It is in very good contrast with the water. Yet again you took something that works REALLY WELL on the model with the collor choices you did make!
@smoochie51 Yes it is a pretty cool game actually! Check out Natakue's channel and see all the reviews and info he has on it. Also check Warmongergameday's channel the whole crew did a lot of coverage as well.
@Generalsplatton No need to be sorry, it still looks cool. And the fact that it was done under the circumstances and it your first NMM and it is was executed so well make it even better to me. The story behind the painting is just as important as the painting itself.
@reaptheglory Cut the top out. Filled base with plumbers putty to just where the base floor was. Put blue tac around the edges on top to hold the Pouring Medium in for the water. Next, used tooth picks for pylons, drill hole straigth through the putty. Finally used balsa wood for the planks. Drill hole all the way through to attatch the figure.
A different and very well done take on Shinigami Ayl. This is my favorite Ayl I've ever seen painted. By the way, the story is that she is a Death Spirit who collects the souls of the dead. Trapped into service by one of the leaders of Samael. Her spirit is trapped into the body of a corpse prepared for her.
The weird thing on her back is a bag perhaps living itself in which she keeps the souls of the dying she comes across.
That is such a pretty miniature, gorgeous detailling and something to show off your painting skills. Falling in love with that range the more I see of them. They don't just seem to be standing and plain, they have a lot of personality & char to them and wonderful detail evoking their tale and personal history.. hehe that sounds so spaced out but I know what I mean.
My question, did you fully assemble her then paint her - or paint the pieces, then assemble and touch up?
@Lostsoul1889 There are five pieces to this model. Well, actually six. I didn't put on one of the bronze blade armor pieces (the piece around her shoulders) because I didn't know where it went. I don't know if it was a duplicate, I don't think it was. The picture seems to show it goes somewhere. 28mm and six pieces! With so many pieces I painted them seperately. It would've been too tough to paint assembled. Lots of touch up also.
I don't care if this is a year old. Just had to say, Good Job.

@Soulcaresser2 Cool! I guess it would be at that. I was worried that the gloss varnish wouldn't look right on it but went with it anyway.

Great GREAT face. One of the best, if not the best, human face I've seen you do Phil.
The Scythe looks good too. Overall top-class paintjob.

@LesterWAR Sorry I didn't use the pen on your model's eyes. They would not be the weak part of the model otherwise.

It could be my affinity for redheads, but I love this model. Very well painted, the base is well done, and her scythe is sick.
Well done General.
