ok this is abt the mehar that a husband gives to his wife as a gift. please tell about the ruling with giving gifts to the daughter at the time of marriage by the parents. Is that allowed?
like in Pakistan people give a lot of stuff to their daughters when they get married like clothes, bed and other things that they think their daughters will need. What if the stuff that they give is affordable. plz clear this out. Jazak Allah Khair
@nehamobeen Well as far as Indo-Pak matter is concerned, the parents of the bride give to the bride is nothing than what is Dowry like washing machine, refrigerator, clothes etc and this is haraam because we have in Islaam dowry but is given by the groom to his bride. May Allaah rectify our condition!
Such pearls of human wisdom: they fall like mountain dew from his lips and cause the infidels to quake and tremble in their dirty boots. May Allah confound their knavish tricks !
@DewOfAllah I'm really fed up with people's comments! At last and at the end, "if ring is given as a Mahr, that is perfectly allowed as you can given anything as Mahr with the consent of bride. But if ring is given as a ceremony means presented as a present, that is not allowed because that is considered as an engagement ring." End quote.
@DanishRiyaz yikes!! Didn't mean to catch you at a bad time O.o thanks for clearing that up, clearly never listen to him properly ...much appreciated...
as salaam alaikum warahamtullahi; my goodness 136 riyals according to todays currency market is like $36.27 cents dollars saw it and freaked out may Allah make this easy for us to accept amin.
@Khaderlredahk I read that hadith, abu mussab said in another video of his that rings for marriage are not allowed because it's shirk. So I still don't understand what the iron ring stands for :S Salam
@Arsehel : Regarding the silver ring, what he meant is, that man can even give mahr to his wife a silver rich which is very cheap (in cost). And we should practise these things. Hope its clear...

@DanishRiyaz 'Idol' like as a model how I would definitely want my dowry to be. Excuse my poor English, I just spent all night in masjid and I should better catch some sleep. May Allah bless your last few days of this wonderful Ramadan. Ameen
@harmonbasti : O jazaakallaahu Khayran for making du'aa for me! Actually Ideal. Happy to hear that you went to masjid. May Allaah wash-out our sins and sins of our parents. Aaameeen!
@DanishRiyaz Ameen! And may He guide my parents to Islam, Ameen. You're right, it's ideal. Note to self: do not speak when you should sleep. AsSalaamo Alaykom Wa Rahmatollah brother
@DanishRiyaz I have subscribed already. No, my parents are not Muslim. I reverted to Islam exactly one year ago after Hijrah calendar alhamdulillah. Insha'Allah they'll find their way to this beautiful deen even though it seems hopeless but I trust in Allah. Either ways it's His decree and I subject to our Creator and am grateful.
@harmonbasti : Ahlan Wa Sahlan to Islaam sister! I congratulate you for you have chosen Jannah for you inshaa-allaah. Sister you have subscribed to Site or Channel?

What if the woman does not want more than one or two children?
robertgift 3 weeks ago
@robertgift You must discuss this matter before you go for marriage.

@DanishRiyaz: "You must discuss this matter before you go for marriage."
Thank you.
Children may happen or may not happen.
Some women or men will not produce children. Without tests, there is no way to know beforehand.
Even with tests, children might not be born.
Such a discussion is usless.

@Arsehel : This hadeeth is not that complicated as we are making it.
1. As for the silver ring, I said before what it means.
2. As for the iron ring, it means that this person could not find even iron ring to give to her would be wife as the Mahr.
This shows how simply they used to make marriages, most expense less waleemah and mahr. I hope we are satisfied.

@DanishRiyaz Yes you already wrote that, but rings aren't allowed in islam, it's shirk? Or does it only mean mahr. an amount of money?
