Then we ALL voted on it (Which there are way more Non-Mormons then Mormons in California) and it passed. I miss my home... and most especially that beautiful temple.

here in utah i feel the temple has become generalized they look all the same but something happens to me when i go home and step onto the temple grounds in Oakland. I cant seem to get over that feeling. It gets me everytime.

And when he gets home, I cannot wait to go there with my WONDERFUL Ben and be sealed for forever.

Funny how ive been to the Temple so many times and Yet to see any pictures of the inside. and why is it that everyone i see there is white? arent there any mexicans Asians or blacks ?? they all white is it a all white religon??

it's actually alot farther up the hill, in the richy area near the oakland hills and head royce. it still is close to the dangerous area, but safe. i live a block away from the temple

I always think this temple looks like a castle from another planet, right out of Tom Corbett, Space Cadet. I think it's all the crenelations and gold spirals that make it look so weird and dated.

I live litteraly a block above the mormon temple so i would know. Anywhere above the temple is really nice but anywhere lower starts to get bad. Like 2 or 3 blocks below is a really bad area. The temple really sits on the line between the hills and the flats.

Yes the temple is on a hill and as you go down the hill the houses are less expensive, but it's not dangerous near the church. It's not West Oakland right below the church.

Don't blame the area below the temple being "Bad". The area is really beautiful, in fact. Blame the men who come into the area (below and above the temple)... they are bad. The areas is not bad, the men are.
