I watched all parts last week, and i have to say that revolution isn`t that bad, the action is awesome and the story telling kinda good!

But something feels wrong, i think part 2 wasn`t really beneficial for the triology.

Sure you can't stay on the same level like matrix1, it was another time and neo becomes something like a superman, but i think there was a oppurtunity to create something special, probably with another director, like nolan :D

@hardcorelifeforus000 I understood the Matrix series to be based on the Brain in a Vat theory by Hilary Putnam, with alot of heavy and awfully specific christian/gnostic symbolism, as well as some general philosophical questions layered on top of that. Honestly, from what I've seen, the Gnostic interpretation works best. The movies focus too much on other philosophy and christian symbology for them to be nothing more than vehicles for demonstrating the brain in a vat/hologram world ideas.
