thanks, chuck. i'm glad you do. although i do enjoy playing like that (it enables me to really get into the song) i'm not entirely sure how i feel about the tapping. it's a habit i developed as a kid and i have done it ever since. i'm attempting to break that habit so that i can use the technique more selectively. it's coming along slowly. take care. shane
