When Ryan won like 5 busch races in a row a few years back, I thought hey maybe he is not ready for the big one...but today, he is one of the best. Great Job Rocket!!!

Ryan is my favorite and I have been wondering for the last 2 years when he would win again and I never thought it hes next win would be the Daytona 500! I hope he can give those hendrick guys a run for the championship!

Ryan has been my favorite driver for a long time and I remember his last win before this one in 2005 and never would have thought his next win would be the Daytona 500. I actually hit the floor I was so excited! Go Ryan!!!

Ryan Newman is one of the most down to earth guys in Nascar. He deserves this win. It's about time he gets his due, and his talent gets recognized. 2008 Daytona 500 Champion!!! Nobody can take that away. Congrats Ryan
