@porqueacreditar He's playing his bass like he would play a guitar, but the strings are too big to do it withouth severily damaging your thumb's skin, so he puts tape. Well that has always been my conclusion, being a bass player that's what I find the most plausible.

i was a student when i first met Lomanis.. I could tell you some really funny stories about him. He is the essence of the perfect Rock Star.. Great musician, amazingly generous personality, a little but self destructive and deep down, one of the kindest guys i've ever met. I think he"s back in Grenoble now, but i"ll never forget that Radio show he did when i went to see him in Barcelona. Dude, wherever you are, I"ll always remember our nights with Fred in Grenoble and our crazy nights in Barca !

I was exactly at the same place a few days ago with some guys of my class, when we saw him we just stopped there and looked; he played Canned Heat, Led Zeppelin...That was just incredible, but the most incredible thing was that nobody exept us give him money. :( So i decided to buy him an album and now i am listening to it, and I can tell you one thing: BUY IT!
