Huh? I think this version is better than the original, you can actually hear the guitar hook in this, that lead-thing Keef plays. As for Micks voice, its amazing for an old dude with a serious case of "ants in pants".
have you ever noticed that nobody criticizes anything on Flickr, Facebook, etc. i guess the a**holes need an outlet to come and tell us how stupid or deaf they are
I hate when Mick sings like this. He`s talk singing which he does far too often these days. They sound like they are hurrying through the song just to get it over with. This sounds like Stones Muzak...
Mick is the only singer on the whole world that looks the same with 1000 years and 20 years. His voice is the same, hi looks the same, he has the same energy, HE'S JUST INCREDIBLE!
The Stones are simply awesome. This performance like any other of theirs has to be taken as the whole band..You put the parts together and they bring the house down every time. That's what its all about isn't it? Not to many acts over 70 years can compare IMHO.
If you think Mick has lost a bit over the years, consider Brian. I'll take this Mick over no Mick. Even Francis Albert was just a shadow of his former self at the end. It's what old age does. But it was still great to see him out there. Mick's got 10 years on me, and I can't move around like this even 10 years ago. Rock on Los Stones de Rollos.
I'm a huge stones fan but what's with Mick singing the whole song in a monotone? If memory serves me correctly, it was a bit more melodic back on the album. It's always been a pet peeve of mine when artist's bastardize the melodies of their own material. On the flip side, Mick still has the energy of his twenty-five year old self. Makes you wonder what fountain he drinks from, doesn't it?
@AlleymanLA What's really amazing is the fact that he wasn't able to sing in the original tones when I saw the Stones back in 1995, and Mick wasn't that old. In the other hand, I saw Paul last year (67 years old) and he sang all the beatles songs in the original tone, 3 hours concert. Some singers loose their voices quicky; others don´t. And by the way, I'm a huge Stones fan as well. I think they made some of the best popular music of the twentieth century. Cheers.

The Rolling Stones were much hotter than the cute Beatles in the "60's. Prefer the Stones definitely, Jagger was the hottest one, very fond of him.

@AlleymanLA Simple: his voice has deteriorated. That's it. He can't sing like he used to. Sad but true.

Be thankful you're not a Bob Dylan fan or you might have hurt yourself.
And it's artists not artist's.
