i'm wondering. is jewish a religion or a race. i mean whe people committed to be jewish, is it because of the religion or because a racial reason. honestly i no nothing about jewish, so anyone knows?

It's a religion who highly discourage conversion from non-Jews to Jews (the Orthodox rabbi are notoriously known to reject a new convert until 3 times before he could embrace the new convert as a Jew). The truth is, Indonesian people HATE Israel but doesn't mean they hate Jewish people too, even Indonesia is the largest Muslim country, Jews still live peacefully with Muslim local in Manado, Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya without any conflict at all.

Be careful with some online website that offer explanation about the jews but from moslem point of view. I found out the explanation is so full of hatred (anti-semitism) with twisted quotes from koran and highly biased against israel.
