  • they always seem to ask the same sequence of questions with famous people, too bad they couldn't have mixed up the rules a bit

  • Must see Mr. No as soon as possible.

  • MEEEEEOW!

  • What a beaut, she's 100% fabolous in "Dr. No" (1962); check her out!!!!!!!!

  • Ursula was gorgeoussssssssss! The ultimate Bond girl!!!!!

  • IT'S HONEY RYDER!

  • That's Ursula's real voice. I don't find it THAT hard to understand.

  • stunning beautiful

  • I think this was just when "Dr. No" Premiered. She played Honey Ryder

  • Hubba hubba. If I were a cartoon, my eyes would have shot 6-feet out of their sockets and my chin would have fallen to the floor.

  • It's like the king's new clothes. She really is an unattractive woman with an acting style more wooden than a tree.

  • @PenzancePete Is your girlfriend more beautiful? I'm really in doubt ...

  • @SpaceCowboy641 Believe me friend, my wife is far more beautiful than the Swiss glacier.

  • @PenzancePete Congratulations! But: Beauty is in the eye of the viewer...

  • @PenzancePete Your wife is a tub of guts

  • ursula andress oozed sex appeal like few did. there have been beautiful women in hollywood no doubt, but ursula was in that rare class of women that made men walk into walls.

  • god they always get it! LOL

  • freeze at 4:28 > that's petty funny. Gypsy, Henry, and Arlene all watching Ursula's chassis haul itself off the stage. One looks impressed, one looks lecherous, and one looks jealous.

  • The chassis thing was priceless!

  • @DerAdventurer I have the episode in my private collection. So far as I can tell, this is the only part of that memorable broadcast that has found its way to YouTubia.

  • @soulierinvestments You're such a lucky person!

  • @DerAdventurer I know and gotta love Arlenes response to Bennett after she guesses.

  • @calalilygirl LOL, indeed! :)

  • Original Air Date--March 19, 1967; shortly before a certain spy farce opened in cinemas.

  • ahhh I miss old hollywood Glamour!

  • The always horny Bennett Cerf

  • This shows why men cling to the wrong curve when they drive.

  • Gosh, what a beauty!

  • Was this before or after Dr. No?

  • @chrisuncleahmad It was after Dr No, nobody would know her before!

  • when she asked are you french i bet she was thinking of brigitte bardot!

  • This episode features Gypsy Rose Lee's last WML appearance. She insulted Bennett Cerf in her introduction. Henry Morgan in that notorious July 1967 episode insulted Bennett by interrupting Bennett's joke introduction.

Gypsy could be amusing when she put her mind to it. After solving a contestant who made fortune cookies, she noted that fortune cookies are hard to make because you have to bend them while they're hot. "That's true for all of us, dear" Arlene said.

  • @soulierinvestments Do you happen to know where that video is?

  • @soulierinvestments ~ i'll be damned, that is gypsy rose lee. i just finished a book about her and don't remember any reference to her doing this show, of course i just discovered these clips, so maybe i didn't make the connection while reading it. gypsy, like henry morgan, was known to have a barbed tongue.

ursula's, bond movie came out in 1967, so this would have put gypsy around 56 yrs. old. she died in 1970.

  • @tomitstube sorry Ursula's was in "Dr. No" and was in 1962

  • @RPULTZ69 She was also in Casino Royale, which was 1967, where she played Vesper Lynd.

  • Comment removed

  • The hideously sleazy Bennett Cerf strikes again

  • I remember seeing her in Woody Allen's What's Up Pussycat (I think that's the title) when I was a kid. I've never forgot seeing her in a bikini. Maybe the sexiest movie star ever.

  • HOT!!!

  • @ch1aka2 Unfortunately she lost some of this as she aged.

  • great posture too.

  • Beautiful woman. Perfection.

  • URSULA was such a dish;

I wonder why though she didn't

'put on' a voice for her appearance.

  • @Keltster Nobody knew what she sounded like I suppose- she was frequently dubbed in movies

  • Good thing it is in black & white. I think we would have seen Bennett turn a little red at 3:15.

  • And note - everybody checked her out when she walked off the stage. She is indeed worth looking at.

  • Wow Yum Yum. And in her early luscious period. I bet she looked good on color TV.

  • Superior "chassis" question from Mr. Cerf.
