the guitar is great. The singing is great. Shame they are in a different key to each other. This has the makings of a great song. You must have just had an off day when you recorded the vocals.
Sorry dude, my comments were arrogant and self centered. As a matter of fact I was later so embarassed by them I changed my name from forbuyfor4. It's not like me to be like that. I was goin through some stuff at the time. When I first heard it I thought it was a karaoke, if it wasn't, then you should take it as a compliment. The comments that followed, well I guess I just got carried away. You're actually very good and I liked your newer version better. Once again, please accept my apologies.
You can say it's not to your taste of music or playing but it's definitively not a karaoke. I recorded all by myself ... track by track with no one else around.
Unfortunately I could not see any contribution of yours presenting your skills. If you can't do it better or even if you can't do anything then think about your eligibility to criticize that way, okay?
Dude, I've been playing 23 years and I CAN do it wayyyy better and when I do it it sounds like Lindsey Buckingham's version not some redneck country song. The acoustic part wasn't bad, but too slow. The singing and the lead, well maybe ya gotta be a country fan, which I definitely am not.
BTW, I've started acoustic guitar in '77. You should have a listen to several other versions L.B. played and released. The lead refers to an early version of that song when it still was called 'Brushes' - so it is his guitar line. Do you also know the very slow version he played on the 'Live' album back in 1980? Last but not least it is neither a country version - we may have a different understanding of country style - nor am I a country fan.
I've seen your video post. Man, you're overrating yourself when posting these messages one side and performing like you did in your video on the other side.
Don't want to talking about the music style - it's a matter of taste - but about performance. It is somewhat arrogant to say I CAN DO IT BETTER when posting videos like yours.
THIS IS FUCKING AWFUL!!!!!

If that was a Lindsey lead, I can understand why he dropped it.

If you can't take it then don't dish it out.
Discussion finished.

The guitar was awesome if it was u playing it. Try and SING it next time instead of shouting it in the mike.

Thanks for the response. Yes, it was me. What do you mean with singing? I did not see any example on your profile.
If it would be that easy I would have done it. Anyway, don't worry, I appreciate your comment and you are right!!

This is great!!
Well done.
I know what you mean about the strange picking. Gotta into Mr B's head and then it becomes second nature...after a while!!
Have a look at mine sometime.
