I have to say, sometimes when I'm playing Skyward Sword, I find myself humming this. I think I like it a little better than the official Skyloft music, it's more serene and mysterious.
Awesome stuff, my friend! :) If you ever think of sharing the sound of your composition with a few other people, I have an idea of where you could go that has more than just that fact as a benefit. :) You played this yourself on the piano, no?
With this one in particular, I didn't play on piano. Im slowly learning piano, its making my work flow a lot faster, but I just used a MIDI sequencer and a pencil tool. I'm currently in Audio Engineering school, but if you have any advice I'd love to hear it and greatly appreciate it
@MeanBlueHippo Having a midi file would probably be the easiest way to get this around, and so because you used the midi to begin with, it would just be a matter of sending it. Ever heard of a site called apollomix? If you check it out, they have a bunch of sheet music, and a spot where members can put out their own compositions for the others to see :) It's an idea, if you're interested. :) If some of the other members listen, they could give you tips on the sound, too. :)
This comment looks stupid man the description clearly states it's inspired and all the work put into it and that it's NOT REAL or gonna be put into the game I'm not trying to be mean I'm just trying to state that he's not trying to be a big fat lier I hope you take this as non offesively as possible
No they haven't revealed any of the music, I just composed my own music of what I thought would sound good in a village in the sky in a Zelda game. lol
Stunning man, absolutely incredible, you've really captured the essence of Zelda soundtracks with this song; transforming the beautiful and grand landscape into fantastic music. My hats off to you, keep up the great work, you're a true artist.

Haha, that means a lot. Thanks. Yeah I found the actual Skyloft theme to be a bit too final fantasy in terms of music, but still a great tune!

C'est vraiment un magnifique thème, excellent travail, bravo! =D

Nice, but I think slow strings instead of that sound I can't quite tell what the instrument is, It seemed a little to dominating.
binglebeee 1 year ago
@binglebeee The slow strings would give it a warmer more homely feeling
