Ehhh 'Rocky 5' is good entertainment for 90 minutes but he's right, it was very "off key" and maybe too far. However, 'Rocky Balboa'(Rocky 6) was absolutely top notch in my opinion.

@MarkoAnzio well with films it's all personal opinion :) I've gota say that I do have a soft spot 4. the scene which shows Rocky traning in nature as opposed to Ivor (I think its Ivor) in that high tech facility is a classic cinema moment. I have a deep seeded hatred for Rocky 5 and Rocky Balboa sadly :/

@Nanotech92 - It all depends how you look at it - Parts I & II are romances/dramas. Part III is an action/comedy. IV is more like a war movie. (It makes sense it feels distant from the first one since Rocky is in Russia. He's out of his element.) Part V is more of a sports movie, & with part 6, & my personal favorite, it goes back to being a drama mixed in with a documentary feel. I personally like that Sly knows how to change with the times, & tried new things with the character.
