Hey Ren, any thoughts on how to clean the stupid MAC brush roll? It's nylon inside so it is much more of a pain to clean! :P Any thoughts would be appreciated!
great video you gave us a lot of ideas . i have 1 question instead of olive oil do you think baby oil will work the same??? i only ask cuz i have so much baby oil that my daughter dont use anymore i figure why not take advantage and trying to get rid of it well let me know thanx:)
I always use 70% rubbing alcohol on my make up brush roll and it takes the make up off completely then I follow up with brush off a make up remover that has an oil base
Great tip. I always have issues getting lipstick and gloss off my brushes and was spending so much time and make up remover to get them really clean. As a matter of fact I just finished drying my lipstick/concealer brushes after soaking them for 2 days in remover.
well, if ur brush roll, is real leather, oil will make it really supple and prevent cracking, so thats good, i would try adding a few drops right to the roll itself and work it in with a finger and just wipe it away
IkaraES - i use a plastic bag for dirty brushes when i use my brush apron and multiple clients...but if i have only one client, i'll just bring a brush roll just for them and then i dont have to worry about separating clean from dirty brushes
I think I'll try the baby oil. I used olive oil to clean some brushes (crown brushes) and now they have a funny smell. Thank you for the tip. It was great.
thank you so much!!!
