Also, I'd always end up naming my rivals after my brothers or people I didn't like at the time. Gave me a little satisfaction.

for a remake this was a very polished and excellent pokemon adventure thanks to the new controls, graphics, and sound. i felt like black and white were a step back even though there were improvements- some control issues and the wierd close up pokemon sprites. hopefully they add all the improvements they made to hg and ss when Gray comes out.
