I remember dancing to this song with a guy 11 years ago. He was a very talented and gifted person. I just found out yesterday he committed suicide a couple years back. This will always be our last song. You are special Andy and are missed. We shall dance again someday.

I too listened to this as a child, it makes me think of the night with a full moon and many stars with fantasy characters from my childhood hovering about. The haunting tone of it provokes so many childhood memories it's amazing. I think about nothing but the good times when listening to this. Sarah has one of the most wonderful voices I've ever heard. Some singers have a lot of intensity in their voices like she does. But not much of them can show that they do not need to sing to be intense, like Sarah does with The Last Dance.
