This works WONDERS! At first they are too curly (for what I like) but after a few hours they loosen up and look awesome! Besides, after a few days they create beautiful waves :D Thank you so so so much!

All three of my girls hav bone straight hair. I saw this video during the holiday break and my middle loved it so much I had to do this for her every other day when she went back to school. I'd like to make one suggestion, if your girls have very thick hair, you may have to use two headbands like I did. It helps the bottom portion of the hair to get just as much curl as the top hair. My girls have some thick hair.

I haven't tried this yet, but I am stoked too!! Only because even with the worlds best curling iron or a professional doing my hair with an iron, it will NOT stay curled. I'm not even kidding. My hair is just dumb for some reason, but I just got out of the shower and I'm combing my hair our right now as I type this. Haha. So hopefully whenever I wake up in the morning it will look great!! Your comment made me giggle a bit. But I want to help you out! Try making your hair messy and by that I mean rough it up and make it dirty. Just make sure you try and not curl your hair when you barely got it cleaned or anything. Hair is best style when it is a day or two old. Try using a tad of heat protectant right before curling it. You can try and use hairspray but I dont recommend doing that. Also take smaller sections of your hair :) Goodluck!

I try this technique last night before bed and I went to bed wwith a slight headache from the headband. Woke up two hours later and had to remove it, but my hair did curl! So as to not disturb my curls, I put on my silk bonnet and slept the rest of the night. Got up this morning and hair is curled beautifully. I think next time I will use one of the wide stretchy head bands instead of the skinny one...
