Error 001 - Brawl

im using a Jap wii, wiikey, i burned the disc using imgburn and put it in, it loads on the menu but when i start it it says error unathaurised disc or whatever, so how exactly do you solve this?

I NEED DL +R's...-R's don't work because they don't allow layer breaks to be set...

this is kind of off topic but my wii is fine, other games working perfectly, but my brawl is pissing me off. everytime i put it in, it loads and at the main screen if i select wifi/solo/any other options it brings me straight back to the main screen that says press any button. any help with this???

The disc you have is either a bootleg or burned disc

Use Trucha Signer. extract main.dol from the second partition. place it in the same folder as Generic Wii Patcher. Launch the software and run the Error 001 search. Then click on the remove 001 to eliminate the error code problem.

..and, finally, if you use "dvd 16x max" burn at 8x

if you have "dvd 8x max" burn at 4x

etc.

i used DVD DL 2.4x and i burned it at exactly 2.4x, works great! ;)

i used "Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5gb 2.4X MAX" and it works p-e-r-f-e-c-t-l-y on my PAL WII (brawl is PAL too) with ALL the video/movies of the game..

the game: use the same region of wii for no problems (ok, ok WE know)

don't use scrubbed version!

do not use TRUCHA!

use ONLY the full 1:1 copy game and burn on a DoubleLayer!

..or it will not work easy..

there is another problem (NOT the "error#001"):

some WII can't read DVD DL perfectly

(nintendo defect with some wii's dvd reader...)

install the homebrew channel and put in your SD card "Gecko Region Free", then it will works!!!

i did thx i used verbitam dual layer and works perfectly wid no green screen or movie lagging and single and mult are both great this is very goood game thx alot

Use the patch on the iso of the brawl just go on google and type: patch error 001 brawl .patch the iso and burn again in other DVD9. at 2.4X or 2.3X
