all roofing jobs are shit, every job is a struggle,everything carried up the ladders, to be strong enough you must be able to carry your own weight up a ladder,stripping off grit thats fully bonded with molten bitumen, it's hard graft, Ive had plenty scalds off molten bitumen.A hoist would be a good investment

let me tell you this process of waterproofing hot applied roofing using hot bitumen asfalt is not a UV resistant that's why they have to load the roof with gravels this is an old method we only use it for retaining walls as per BS

i know what it's like to work a dirty job. i worked for some people i know and they had me doing gardening. i had to spread fertilizer and wet mulch, in the hot sun, in the middle of July. you sweat alot, and you go home smelling bad. that's why i love the show Dirty Jobs, it is good to see someone doing a dirty job and filming it. spreading mulch and fertilizer, it's a dirty job but someone's got to do it

That's because a fair share of hot tar roofing companies have stone age equipment, stone age workers, stone age work habits, stone age pay and stone age technology. Who ever heard of taking a run up a ramp with a fully loaded 300 pound wheel barrel anyways?? Stupid. There are even 'two wheeled' wheel barrels to prevent tipping after excessive and prolonged use with 500 pounds of gravel inside. Do these companies even use those things. NO. Stupid.
