My parents actually are more moderate leaning slightly on liberal. They weren't and aren't really that strict to us. As far as career goes, they actually don't really care what I go into as long I got a lot of money in my field. They actually really like if I would become a film director or an artist. I though, like many other Persians, have decided to go to medical school, its actually what I wanted to do since I have been a kid.
