We are not exhausting the resources of earth, in fact the known reserves of nearly every natural resource on this planet has increased exponentially over the past 50 years. We are also on track to be using renewable energy sources almost exclusively in about 30-40 years. This video ignores changes in technology and change in the way that resources are actually used and allocated.
@zmoney7276 Renewable energy will be part of the solution, but it is also important to note that the current method of Farming is NOT sustainable as well. Vertical Farms, skyscraper greenhouses inside cities will be part of the solution. It will help combat mass deforestation for farmland, soil run-offs polluting the oceans and rivers, and if set up properly, can even be more, much more energy and water efficient compared with shipping goods hundreds-thousands of miles back and forth.

@lovinit19791 Religion is hardly a cause, most people dont use contraception because its either not available to the poor or in third world countries or the fact is here in the UK many of the lower classes choose to live on the benifits they get from having kids free housing ect... But even without these factors just ordinary people choosing to have 3 kids is pushing the population ever further and then you get people divorcing and starting a family with a new partner and so on.

I'm am gonna do everything i can to encourage people to put aside their needs and wants for the sake of nature and endangered animals, its time we stop thinking for our selves, just because we are on top of animals, doesn't mean we can make some sacerfices for them i mean animals can be helpful to humans by keeping their enviroment clean for us and protecting us, so we must repay animals back for it, it would be the right thing to do, plus we should recycle more and save injured animals.
I will start welcoming until we save the animals and until we are lower at our population, we make to much medicence from animals, we got enough stuff to save us, now lets help animals, it would be a right thing to do.
I hope there will be a day when humans know how to control their producing behavior, our need for children is to strong,, its not healthy, especially when it harms animals and land, we must stop, i think its a bit to selfish, we should put aside our needs so that way we can help animals and land, it would make things better for us and other life
With so many humans on earth, i really don't encourage our poulation to grow, it should be much lower, so that way we don't destroy to make room for ourselves, i mean really thats selfish to destroy land for stuiped buildings that sometimes don't mean anything

I don't know why I am giving this enough credibility to even post this, but here goes: technology CHANGES!!!! We are not exhausting the resources of earth, in fact the known reserves of nearly every natural resource on this planet has increased exponentially over the past 50 years. We are also on track to be using renewable energy sources almost exclusively in about 30-40 years. This video ignores changes in technology and change in the way that resources are actually used and allocated.

Vertical Farms, skyscraper greenhouses inside cities will be part of the solution. It will help combat mass deforestation for farmland, soil run-offs polluting the oceans and rivers, and if set up properly, can even be more, much more energy and water efficient compared with shipping goods hundreds-thousands of miles back and forth.

Our world is far from being over populated, cities are becoming over crowded because they cannot keep up with the population growth. We don't need more earth, we just need balance. i believe even at 6 billion,8 billion, even 10 billion, if we maintain a balance then everyone can survive. But there does come a time where you can't ignore population. A 100 years time isn't that long, in 100 years the earth population will most likely be around 12-14 billion. I think at that point present breaking civilizations will collapse. Like i said, even exploding numbers maybe 20 billion can survive at a balance, but if we keep on the same old track then we won't have a chance.

But even without these factors just ordinary people choosing to have 3 kids is pushing the population ever further and then you get people divorcing and starting a family with a new partner and so on.

In science my teacher said were getting to a number of 700000000 humans, she claims its a bad thing since what were doing to the earth, i so agree with her, if we were at a much lower rate like 1000000 people or a slight higher then that, both humans and animals would have a better chance in surving, after hearing that, im not having kids, i mean i love kids, but i would like to save animals and nature to make our world a little more healthier for humans and animals, cause animals are important.

My friend replied:"How many where living in this acre when he was a child?"-well 5- and now? "We're 32 and growing as the church orders" So, my friend said, "The Earth cannot support the small town all of you made, it's not rocket science, 5 people don't eat as much as 32, and the amount of waste solids and water is not comparable" So think again, 5 does not equal 32.... and church has to stop pushing fanatics into having more children, is not their business (well, money rules, I think)

The Earth is not tired. Why do I have to go mow grass whenever we have too much rain? Plants grow, but in this fallen world, crops grow, and so do weeds. Work is required, as it's not the Garden of Eden anymore.
The world can support small towns, more small towns, growing towns, huge cities, but it requires work and some infrastructure.
Let acres gain people, as more and more people would be glad to live, and babies continue to naturally come to life. Spread out, grow denser

The world is over populared, i know there are parents who want kids and all but we need to think for the animals, we need to know how to control our population, a parents want for a kid is not as important as animals going endangered

So what is nature for? God gave dominion over nature and other creatures, to man. What could this mean? Should we have dominion because we are so smart, or because "we can?" I think it refers to that God would cause our numbers to grow such that sheer numbers would force humans to take dominion. For God's commandment to Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, is but a few verses away, in the same 1st chapter of Genesis. Also repeated in Gen 9

Even nature wants humans multiplying, for in nature, most all life seeks to expand into most every available niche. That there's so much human population, and that it grows so much in many regions of the world, itself is evidence that the world can hold far more people. Cities only occupy but 2 or 3% of the land. It could be more.
Urbanize the planet to whatever extent needed.

They said by 2010 are population, will likely at 1010,0000, and most scientist who study that claim thats not really a good thing, we should share the earth with animals, they were here first, and they have done things to keep the earth healthy, while we damage it by cutting trees dwon, almost a lot of animals are endangered even ones that keep our earth healthy, and they said most animals are endangered because of human population and hunting, taking trees down, like where tigers.

I don't recognize your population numbers, as they don't conform to any format I recognize. Here's the numbers for you. Currently, the official estimate of world population is 6.8 billion, or 6,800,000,000. Factoring in the undercounting that some suspect, some get 7.5 billion or 8 billion.
Many scientists say so much population IS OKAY and normal/natural.
Humans are supposed to keep multiplying, but of course, be a little careful not to excessive waste, and don't litter.

And if half the animals were vunerble to extintion we would certeinly need to watch are breeding, the whole point of us being here was not to keep multiplying and kill every animal on the earth and then us being the only ones left and then we go endangered, thats not the whole point of being on earth, does the enviroment look healthy to u, we have cars the polutnate the air and we throw things in water like trash that kill animals why do we deserve to be on top we aren't taking care of the earth

The U.S. has plenty of room for billions of people, and yet we only have 306 million. Only 2 or 3% of land is covered by cities. It could be far more, if ever needed
Humans aren't supposed to use birth control, but to welcome our babies to come as they come. As each successive generation grows larger and more populous than the previous, if people aren't now too selfish to welcome many children?, more habitat is needed to hold our rising #s. So build lots more cities/buildings

Don't just make billions of babies, but people need jobs anyway, so let the people build themselves the additional cities and towns it takes to hold so many people.
