The labor is part of the cost of making them and given that a pair would take one to two weeks to make, I could make more money with a minimum wage job. So these are just for fun. Yay economics! @miragegaogamon1122 If you're not experienced with woodworking, USE STYROFOAM!!! I cannot stress that enough. And always make a pattern first (geometry is your friend). Once the pattern is done, it's pretty straight-forward. Just take your time, plan every single step, and only work with materials and tools that you've used before or have no chance of slicing your hand off. Let me know if you need something more specific.

It might look a little big, but these are perfectly proportional. The dimensions of the chakram were carefully drawn out based on the measurements of the chakram in the game compared to Axel's hand, then altered to match my own hand.

LoL! Yes, that was me way back in high school. About 3 or 4 years ago. I made some of it, bought some of it online, and bought some of it at conventions. Look around Amazon and Ebay. If you shop Ebay, I highly recommend soniceplayer. His/her costumes are very well made and I never have any trouble working with him/her.

For the wood, we used 3/4 inch birch plywood. I've explained how we got the measurements in these comments several times. Please read them.

I bought the boots from hot topic several (3 or 4) years ago. And the gloves were my mum's from decades ago. It's not hard to find boots or gloves. It's the coat and weapons that are the important (and expensive) parts.

Get a picture of Xigbar and compare the size of his hand to a part of the gun (example: the handle).

Just say that one part (example: the handle) is (example: 1 1/2 Xiggy hands long) (i don't know if that's the right measurement, i'm just explaining).

Measure the length and/or width of your own hand. Apply that to your measurements. (example: if the handle is 1 1/2 Xiggy hands long, make your own handle 1 1/2 your hands long). Apply this method to all the gun parts.
