The raptor 660 is one of the biggest piece of shits ever made. I made a mistake of buying one and so did my buddy and we dumped a bunch of money in them and they still suck. My 250r and my tecate 250 will destroy those raptors, straight line or the track. If you want to race on a halfmile oval for 10 laps I'll bet I can lap you! Put that piece of shit away.

@SuperStover24 hmm do i want to pay 10 grand to make a 100hp raptor or pay 3 grand and have my 100hp cub banshee i think i will stick with my real quad.. on a raptor yo uhave 1000s of dollars in the motor and it will sturggle to see 60-70hp i just put 2500 dollars in my banshee that i baught for 800 dollars and it dynoed at 98hp with 57 ftlbs of torque at 9300rpm.. once a raptor reaches 90 horse power you need to start investing in billet cases the stock ones dont hold up to that much power.

An atv has suspension so it can be used, not to run in circles or in straight lines. A 250r will out perforn a banshee any day on a mx track. I would say in a straight line too. Especially if it is a atc250r

@raptorandblaster how do you figure it is a way bigger engine? They have one crank pushing two rods with two pistons in two different cylinders. making it a 350. Two carbs, with two reed cages. Equals, too heavy, more to move, more to wear, harder to work on, more trouble... The 250r engine is simple and produces more power. I had a 250r with a 410 powervalve engine pushing 275 psi and around 85hp on a mx chasis. You can buy more aftermarket parts for an R than any other atv ever built........

If you have a good running 250r Banshee's are never a prob. I have owned all the fast quads at one time or another. And you can ride a 250r and be comfortable jumping/racing/etc. On a Banshee the quad rides you and gets out of shape and into trouble to easy...just take both out for a lap on the track or just about anything else...I love all atv's though!

The 250R is a sweet atv ive had alot of them,but now day's there way over priced! Ive been on banshee's since "95" there very dependable my only complaint is the road bike clutch setup will not hold up to the hard core abuse of high horsepower&sand but thats mainly due to me fanning the clutch and literaly beating the CRAP out of it other than that the air box-fixable,  the things will run strong 5to6 years with zero maintanance yes I said YEAR'S.
