Series finale was the most blasphemous ever. Ruined the whole show for me. I can't sit through and enjoy any of it anymore when I know how it ends. It was always Dawson and Joey- even the creator/writer admits it, so what the fuck happened!?

@caitlinorchard Kevin Williamson likes twisting the story up. He see's it as dawson getting to meet Spielberg at the end, and pacey gets the girls, but i agree, it was always dawson and joey, kevin has been known to contradict what he says one second then says another.

I think it's important to remember what led up to this. D had tried to court J, even following her to Florida, just to discover she was with Charlie. After a number of attempts Joey was only slightly aware of, he'd given up and didn't look her up that summer. And when she asked, due to his disappointments he became evasive about admitting his interest/recent efforts.

(And what followed) This surprise visit by Dawson was one last ditch effort (although meanwhile he'd started a relationship with another, which wasn't really working and he'd have dropped for Joey). The big let down from this special moment was how J ruined it next morning (episode after this), grabbing D's cell phone and screamed at him accusing him of cheating on another women with HER, Joey.

602 is also so nice but nonsense seperation scene is enough to

devastate.I congratulate writers for the nonsense ending also , this is an

achievement too.We even thank for The Kids Are Alright episode.

I wish Kevin Wiliamson wrote a different ending.
