@scotty2707 Ric Flair will always be welcome in the WWE regardless of whether or not he works for TNA or some other promotion for that matter. He's Ric Flair. You think Vince McMahon is going to hold it against him that he's working for TNA? Do you have any idea just how close Ric Flair is with Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, HHH, the McMahon Family, & the WWE Board of Directors? The relationship that Flair has with Vince McMahon far surpasses of just business. They're tight. VERY TIGHT!
@scotty2707 You of course do realize that Ric Flair is being inducted into the 2012 HOF this year with the Four Horseman right? How many wrestlers do you know that have two WWE HOF rings? Do you honestly think Vince and Flair's relationship has been strained from Ric Flair working for TNA? I don't!! Flair and McMahon are tight, and its going to take more than Flair working for TNA to come in between the bond that they have with one another.
Flair toyed with running for SC Govenor...PLEASE RUN FOR OFFICE RIC!!!!!!! THE TEA PARTY WANTS YOU WE HAVE HEARD YOU ARE INTERESTED WE KNOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR OUR PARTY (GOP) OVER THE YEARS AND YOU HAVE THE CHARISMA, INTELLIGENCE, AND GOOD WILL TO RUN AND WIN. PLLLLEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZEEEEEE!!! Semper Fi.

esp after witnessing that pathethic view of Flairs' inbred family. and why is hhh/levesque just standing there like a complete jackass!, trying to suck up all that flair air?
@hynwa97 yeah but even as just a WWE hall of fame its completely illegitimate. Why? Because they STILL have not inducted Bruno Sammartino and I will never understand why.
@antsman88 its because of the legit hatred between Vinnie Mac and Bruno over a bunch of issues, Bruno Sammartino as said even if they would do the HoF in his front yard he wouldn't accept it
@antsman88 You do realize, they are his apprentice right?!? As Ric Flair did his Idol Buddy Rodgers...TO BE THE MAN YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE MAN...Ric Flair handed the torch to Shawn Michaels. Buddy Gave the gimmick to Ric. Shawn would take his Chop, his Figure Four, so would Triple H. I hate that his entire life has been Buddy Rodgers, but you have to understand something about him, with out his caliber, he wouldn't have been able to continue doing it and make it good.
@MafiaManMike I know flair took pretty much everything from rogers, but there is something to be said for taking something from someone and improving it tenfold as flair did with the nature boy gimmick. thats not the issue here. its how the kliq completely milked flair's retirement. I wont argue against HBK being his "last" opponent. but how the hell anybody argue that HHH should've inducted him into the hall of fame over Arn Anderson is beyond me.
@antsman88 Good point...but overall, the WWE verison of the "Hall of Fame" has become a complete joke (on several fronts)...I encourage you to check out or do an online search for the wrestling hall of fame in Syracuse, that seems to be a legit production and MUCH more respectful of tradition(s) and giving proper acknowledgement/credibility to the true meaning of what is a wrestling hall of fame...
@antsman88 Who would you have rather retired him? I think that Shawn was the best possible last man, he gave Flair what he deserved, one final last Great match. Now as for HHH inducting him that's questionable.
@AmericanWolves13 oh i fully endorse michaels having the last match with him that was the best possible match they could've and should've had. But no question about it - HHH should NOT have inducted him. Arn Anderson all the way.
@antsman88 Arn, Ricky Steamboat, or Sting were the three best choices. Obviously Sting was out of the question but Double A or The Dragon were better than HHH. He only did it because he was a fan of Flair. I was a fan of Shawn Michaels but I didn't induct him!
@aitraining it wasnt a great speech bc he was rushed..rock took too long and flair was supposed to have way more time for the speech but they were running way late..thats why hhh was behind flair haha tryin to tell him to hurry thats why u hear flair start flyin through his speech just as he starts talkin bout hhh..yea man just heard that in a hhh radio interview
@lanebriand I agree with you he's the best choice. It just breaks my heart that it had to be his death that gets him in there. He should have gone in so long ago.
While Flair is thanking the sports of professional wrestling, Vinnie Mac is at home screaming "damnit Ric, it's sports entertainment, SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT!"
I agree that it is only entertainment. But you could say that there are "better" ENTERTAINERS than others. You still have to be athletic to do what they do. And Ric Flair was one hell of an entertainer/personality. So having "hall of fame" for sports entertainment doesn't sound very silly/goofy to me. Is he using notes for his Hall of Fame speech? : / That's sad. Especially after watching an interview of him bitching out other wrestles for being inducted by non wrestlers. He wants to act like everything he does it from the heart and the f'cker is the only wrestler who had use notes for his Hall of Fame speech
@Antrizzle2009 Some notes are fine, but his face was buried in those notes for like 90% of the speech. He hardly said a thing up there without looking down. Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, they used very little notes, if any. They spoke their minds and their hearts. And listen to Flair, he sounds drunk. He slurred a lot of his words. The guy was probably sauced when he walked out there.
@DrBananaKing7000 I dunno, I think you gotta cut the guy some slack. He was emotional. I was the best man for my best friend's wedding and when I had to do the toast I had notes written down to make sure I said everything I wanted to say. Doesn't mean it wasn't from the heart feel me? That part at the end when he was talking about his family you don't think that was from the heart? Yea he might have had something to drink that night but still, he earned it.
@Antrizzle2009 I know how important notes are in these situations, but still, I think he went overkill with them. He used them for the entire speech. It's not that his words weren't heartfelt, but he shouldn't need notes to tell how he feels about his friends like Triple H or his family for that matter. He barely looked at them while he was talking. For someone as proud as Ric Flair to not improvise any parts of his speech just kinda shocked me I guess.
stupid mofo is always crying! i saw him in wal mart and he was crying because the doughnuts reminded him of the smell of Steamboats soiled underpants! WTF dude!
I find it ironic that Ric Flair goes into the WWE Hall of Fame when he spent most of his career in the NWA and WCW trying to beat and bring down the WWF/E. I find it sad what a kiss ass phony he became after he joined the WWF/E and chose to forget his past. Calling it the "greatest wrestling company in the world" is pretty hard to take and shows what a sell out he is.
I hate to break this to you Bonny but Flair was not even close to the wrestler Bret was. Yes Flair was a great talker and he was top 3 wrestlers all time but he not a better wrestler than Bret or Shawn.
Ric Flair is the last living remnent of a bygone golden era of professional wrestling. Comparison with Breat is pointless. Flair has more charisma , more wrestling ability, in the little finger of his left hand than Breat Heart can ever aspire to have. Flair has wrestled with the best like Harley Race and beaten the best. Flair pushed more young wrestlers than any other legend. He made youngsters look better than they can ever look on their own. NWA was so much the benchmark for all wrestlers.
@fisherlibermannutsc Bret hart used to be my favorite wrestler of al time...until i noticed he is a figment of his own imagination....he REALLY thinks he IS the character he played.....and had HATE in his heart for a long time, when it was HIS fault......
STFU asshole bret ain't a two faced twat like flair is and it wasn't his fault your just a typical american asshole you think america is the greatest country in the world when in fact its the biggest giant toilet bowel which can only produce fat obese people AMERICA = SHIT
@pornpan96isGay I used to be like you always gave bret hart the benefit of the doubt, but all these years all the interviews, all i saw was bitterness...i dont know why you come out insulting for something i said, i didnt even cuss or talk BAD about bret, grow up, your old, your an adult, stop suckin "the hitmans" dick, all in all he doesnt even KNOW YOU, so why are you defending him like hes your dad lmao
i wish he had never done that anti american angle it really killed the hitmen character there at that time.but really happy to see they have forgotten that nd understand that was theb part of show nd giving him great response in his hof induction.
i am a big bret hart fan but always respected the talent of ric flair.austin was the most popular nd succesful wrestler of all of all time along with hulk hogan.but bret hart was a real global star.i had lived in many countries bcoz of family business.even here in india there r millions of bret hart fans.i have lived down under in australia and newzealand they all were with bret hart at that time.even in europe he was really popular.samething in south africa .

Call the big show, Paul Wight, a bitch to his face. Stop playing you tube games and be honest with yourselves. I'm from Detroit, and yes, people still play these games here. But watch the news, anywhere in the world. Real men that stand up may get knocked down, but we don't lay for anything. Ric gave up a physical bond to his kids for their upbringing. Ask anyone who's parents worked in a plant about that. Ric is the truth, and stop lying to yourself.
God, man, This guy was famous for his microphone work, Yet how many mistakes he made here. Thats when you know, Thats how you know its from the heart. He expressed how he felt, And damn I applaud him. Perhaps the most touching induction speech ive seen!
@Juggalo5588 Know what.. We see mistakes here.. because he was being "Ric Flair" the human being.. not "Ric Flair" the wrestler. I think he is more comfortable as the wrestler than the human being and even more to that point, Ric Flair the wrestler ISNT a humble guy, however, HE IS Ric Flair... unquestionably THE BEST wrestler ever... best technically? On the mic? charismatically? best respected? No, not the best in any of these.... But for more than 35 years, the best package? unquestionably
@freelandwhippet Perhaps im wrong, Im sensing some hostility here. If im wong im sorry. If im correct, I was simply Applauding Ric Flair, Hes the best, hes a fighter, a believer, a deceiver, an actor, and a Brilliant wreslter. All essential in being a great of pro wrestling. and tho his talents were best on the Mic, His ability to show the world the True Ric Flair, as he does in this video... Makes him a bigger man than most. Ric Is truly touching in this video I hope you dont think i dissed him
dumb ass..man just reading..and i like to think all the guys behind me..nothin there but crickets..lmao..but on the other hand its alot of feeling and the..i need to say the right things but how kinda thing is there...
without out a doubt, Flair put in more time and respect in the Wrestling business then anyone. I have my personal fav's ie... Rowdy Piper" and many of the 70,s wrestlers ... Flair was the best bar none, he had the most FUN TOO ;-)
Flair was the best pro wrestler of all times !!!!

It's hard to see old men cry. And very touching. I have the utmost respect for this athlete.

I find it ironic that Ric Flair goes into the WWE Hall of Fame when he spent most of his career in the NWA and WCW trying to beat and bring down the WWF/E. I find it sad what a kiss ass phony he became after he joined the WWF/E and chose to forget his past. Calling it the "greatest wrestling company in the world" is pretty hard to take and shows what a sell out he is.
danteras23 1 year ago

Juggalo5588 1 year ago
@Juggalo5588 Know what.. We see mistakes here.. because he was being "Ric Flair" the human being.. not "Ric Flair" the wrestler. I think he is more comfortable as the wrestler than the human being and even more to that point, Ric Flair the wrestler ISNT a humble guy, however, HE IS Ric Flair... unquestionably THE BEST wrestler ever... best technically? On the mic? charismatically? best respected? No, not the best in any of these.... But for more than 35 years, the best package? unquestionably
freelandwhippet 1 year ago
@freelandwhippet Perhaps im wrong, Im sensing some hostility here. If im wong im sorry. If im correct, I was simply Applauding Ric Flair, Hes the best, hes a fighter, a believer, a deceiver, an actor, and a Brilliant wreslter. All essential in being a great of pro wrestling. and tho his talents were best on the Mic, His ability to show the world the True Ric Flair, as he does in this video... Makes him a bigger man than most. Ric Is truly touching in this video I hope you dont think i dissed him
Juggalo5588 1 year ago
if you really care about pro wrestling and its history, and you saw a grown ric flair live, crying......you'd cry too
