  • Bagsy my card doesn't need batteries to work.

  • Who else noticed the big triangle symbol on the top of the card? hmm.. i bet £100m somebodys gonna makes a video about illuminati including this ._.

  • soo...if someone loses that or misplaces it... they're screwed because all of their info is in one place

    ingenious idea!

  • @carfan2k2 You mean just like if you lost your wallet? If you're the type to lose things just get the security one that was discussed in the video. You lose it, no problem!

  • @prrsnikety you fail to see the meaning in my comment --- if all your info is in ONE PLACE on ONE CARD -- and you LOSE THAT CARD...youre royally screwed.

had nothing to do about losing the wallet

  • It's acutally 10 buttons...look closer at it. An account digit can be 0-9, what you're doing is typing in the missing digits of the account (we'll call it a long PIN number), I would guess it's like texting on a non-QWERTY pad, if you wanted a "B" you hit "1" twice. Looks similar here, if you want a "1", hit the first button twice, a "4" hit the third button once, etc.

  • yeah it may be waterproof, but what about washing machine proof? lol

  • this is actually very useful

  • they should make a chip that would be embedded either on you right hand or your forehead, that works with rf signals.

  • That's a pretty sweet idea, but I'd have to see a lot more technical specs before I trusted that much information to one card.

  • Unfortunately, most Americans won't have the attention span to learn all those codes.

  • holy fucking shit fucks

  • How long does the battery last?

  • seems cool

  • Nice trick to get you to put all your info in one place.

I won't be falling for it.

  • The future of credit cards is not needing a credit card and paying wiht a non-token method.

  • i dont like buying on credit and i like my money CASH. maybe in the future i will be labeled as a terrorist for the cash thing, but i dont care.

you know that feeling when you have CASH in your poket man?

  • @chiru2die4 Other than the visceral, emotional feeling of seeing green money, what practical reason is there for it? If someone steals your bank card, you can call the bank and have them shut it down so that the thief can't have any of your money. If he steals your cash though, you can't de-activate cash, you may as well have called up his dealer yourself and bought him some crack.

  • Great technology :D

  • And if you lose it? You lose everything!!!!

  • Best solution? Carry cash

  • Where can i get one :D

this is an awesome development in technology

  • @bone009 250 different types of combination? Check your math.

This guy pressed 5 buttons for his password and there are 5 possible letters to choose. So, a permutation with repetition would mean that there were 5^5 possible combinations or 3,125 possible codes. Make your code 6 letters long and that jumps to over 15,000 possibilities.

  • @mattyohe theres only 5 button to press, it doesnt matter of how many number appeared on the card. There are only 3,125 combination

  • @falconexe What? If there's 5 buttons, you can still still assume that you can have a longer code than just 5 numbers/letters. At least that's what I was assuming.

If you still think that doesn't matter, here's something to think about: what if he had pressed one of the buttons 3,126 times?

  • @bone009 It does Its Called and RFID CHIP . its on all new american passports, they us it on animals and people who wish to have them as medical identification all they have to do is scan the chip on your arm and there you go look it up rfid chip . mythbuster tried to do a skit on it but the fucking fbi shut them down its some serious government shit i tell ya

  • @bone009 im in ur cardz steelingz ur moneez!

  • @bone009 check your math.

  • @bone009 excuse me but your math is off, because you can use the same letter five times the amount of combinations becomes 5^5 or 3125 combos. increasing the combination using six presses bumps it up to 15625. and it only goes up from there. plus if u program in a lock feature which locks the card permanents after a certain number of tries are inputted too quickly i.e. hacking. safety is ensured

  • @bone009 What ur nimwit little brain fails to see is that u can do the exact same thing with a regulare card, in fact this card doesn't give u the code to the account it self but more like unlocks the numbers shown on the card... u're so cool though with ur super powers and stuff! yay for u

  • how do u put a light or screen in that

  • technology never solves a problem without creating ten more...

  • thats kind of cool

  • LoL face at 1:22

  • RFID chip inserted, the death of cash and the continuation of our cashless society.. enjoy the mark of the beast people :-D YAY!

  • @MoOtErFiCk1 There is already an RFID chip in my card..... they are old news. This new card will probably have a far easier loophole for some one to steal your money.

  • @joeynessily lol not only are you a very sad & negative person you watched the video and still have no clue about creativity, innovation or benefits this card presents.

  • @MoOtErFiCk1 Mike Jones is not a reliable source of information.

  • @yerk3 lol mike jones? might you mean alex jones? mike jones talks like mike jones has something to say about mike jones.. because mike jones is a rapper...... mike jones..

  • @MoOtErFiCk1 are you christian??

  • @kvnlmn lol nah.. far from it..

  • @MoOtErFiCk1 Lulz. Go back to posting in conspiracy forums in your mom's basement.

  • @Ltbird lolwut? ALRIGHT! APPROVAL!

  • @MoOtErFiCk1 Yes.. because a credit card is a "mark of the beast". haha fucken stupid 10th century christian. Go kill yourself to meet your invisible man in the clouds...rid earth of your presence!

  • @venium I aint no godfan.. fuck that shit.. I aint a simp.. thanks.. flying spaghetti monster ftw..

  • they look easily hack. how do u charge the battery?

  • We also want to track everyone" at 46.0 sec You will not be able to buy or sell without the mark of the Beast ..not fond of RFID chips to ez to abuse fake and steal from

  • @stompySharpNpointy "We also want to attract everyone -- one of the segments we want to attract is the security oriented user...."

  • @stompySharpNpointy What is with people thinking that the mark of the beast is an RFID chip? The mark of the beast was referring to Nero. It has nothing to do with technology.

  • @stompySharpNpointy He doesn't say "Track everyone", he says "attract everyone". As in attracting a different kind of user, which he goes on to explain why the 2 cards are different.

  • i would like to see an algorithm based security feature built into online transactions, much like blizzard entertainment's authenticator. 10 digits that change but only match one authenticator.

  • 0:23 = epic face

  • and if they combine that with a RFID chip and you got the biggest potential for having your bank account robbed..

  • They got one thing right though: Having your credit card details visible on the card is about as stupid as keeping your personal code in your wallet!

  • @45mrfixit If the cashier has any brains they check the card has the same number as the magnetic stripe, if it's not they know it's cloned. Because in the UK we have an even more floored security measure (the chip/pin) I can't look for cloned cards the same, but I still find them, as 99% of foreign cards are cloned/stolen cards. Also looking at the name on the card too is good too, a white female person with the name Mohamed is obviously one to run extra checks on, So having details on is good.

  • Great idea but it won't happen! Back in 2001 some guys invented a card that you activated with your thumb print, it stayed activated for 20 seconds, it was piezo powered and therefore needed no battery! It was the same story then: Everybody assumed that major players on the credit card market buy in to this. The truth is that printing the credit card details on the card serves no purpose. Think about it! A major corporation purchased the patent and made sure it never made it to the market

  • @MrUncomment he's probably rich though.

  • Scratch proof?

Great! Now I don't need to use that card to buy me a chopping board.

  • This seems like a great idea, except I have two worries: How is the safety? Is it easy to hack or what? At the very least this hopefully helps slow down this type of theft. Second they are ugly ass cards. Some designer are needed there pronto.

  • give the date of release ???

  • super cool!

  • The sound is terrible. Mashable.com should be ashamed for posting this on their site.

  • Hey @19gregorx51

Evan from Mashable here. Sorry about the sound quality on this one. I think we recorded it with a mic that wasn't getting enough power from the camera, so it left a terrible streak of high-pitched noise running through the video. Made a pretty good attempt at fixing it, but it's hard to get that right, you know?

We're starting to work with better equipment, though, so look forward to better quality sound in the coming weeks.

    -Erw

  • WHEN WILL WE GET THESE 2015 ???

  • Efficient !!!

  • Офигенчик

  • Looks awesome, can't arrive soon enough!

  • Yeah sure sounds wonderful, all your info on one card- Hey guys why beat around the bush , you know you us to thumb scan on the card to use it. sure how about a eye scan too , just to be on the safe side . And we might need naked body scanners like at the airports before we can purchase anything, right , all for safety . This makes me sick , good job at supporting Tyranny.. i'm not using your mark of the beast technology and I know many will not either ... So bad luck on your business.

  • @AudioTruther Wow go fuck yourself. Maybe people who do not have the time to be super careful, or lose items easily could benefit from this. Way to be a pessimistic asshole.

  • @PSNDonutDude pull the donuts out of your pie-hole 4 a min. and think, all your card and info on 1 central database = fail, thats the mark of the beast..you must never have had a credit card , if there is unusual activity on your card they'll call you and most transactions require an ID + info , if your that careless or worried about your info being stolen than invest a few bucks and subscribe to personal data protection service , there are several out and they are proven to be effective-

  • @AudioTruther Or I could just use this new fangles thing called technology to make it easier and cheaper for me. A credit card with a password is ingenious. You obviously have never had your credit card stolen and lost a couple hundred bucks to some guy buying six Xbox's and chocolate. I have. Get over it.

  • @PSNDonutDude Six xbox's and chocolate, he was living it up lol. Sucks it happened to you dude. I hope these cards also have picture id on it as well.

  • This is amazing!

  • I like the security one but how long does the battery last? Is it rechargeable or something? More info would be nice.

  • that is excellent.
