  • Beware of Beaners now

  • wer did u get the saber effects from??

  • Solo had better not cross you.

  • fucking briliant dude, I can't wait to try this! Got 2 weeks to make a 15 second rotoscope for Uni.

Btw, the green light saber was the best (third try)... x

  • the first one SUCKED

  • on the fourth may i reccomend that the saber color is a bit lighter. other than that 5/5

  • There is no real trick to it from what I hear. I believe the ILM guys painstakingly draw the lightsaber on each and every frame of the film.

  • The fourth try was pretty good!

  • Third try: And I see your schwartz is as big as mine! :p

  • this video is "old" so you may already have After Effects. If not, get it. My movie took a month to rotoscope. fun fun fun.

  • in the third try, when you close the lightsaber, hey! it's the

FX FORCE LIGHTSABER, A NEW HOPE!

    fantastic! look at my videos.

  • The 4th is EVEN more badass!

  • thats badass. R those the rlly kool glass sabers u can find at Radio Shack?

  • Fourth was good.

  • Good work, you even got the perspective foreshortening right when the beam was pointing towards the camera!

  • thats good man

  • severe improvement!

    lofr

  • not bad

  • It's "Rage Against the Machine-Imperial March"

  • nice lol

  • also i saw in a shot the light saber went in front of your face when it wasnt supposed to....to fix this ill try to do this quick....all you have to do is create another mask at the fram needed....or go to frame needed next just keyframe the oppacity to the point it should be shown in the shot (behind head...ect) and after complete keyframe the oppacity to 0 for the rest of the shot unless needed for further keyframes....and thus you have an extention to your lightaber behindur headhope it helpd

  • Sweet light saber effects!!!!

just one question. how come u can see the

    prop?

  • whats the song its like a re-edited version of imperial marche??

  • second try, almost sliced your head off

  • LMFAO

  • I meant LMFAO @ "second try, almost sliced your head off" rotoscoping is good :)

  • lol nice... but u need to prop remove it so the prop blade doesnt show up in the shot..u can do that by getting a tripod(needed) and shoot the backround without anybody next shoot yourself in the same area(camera untouched then take both films and put in 1 comp then mask out the prop in the frames needed message me for more info on that

  • Excellent tip OneWorld, thanks for submitting it ! Off to the electronics store to by a video camera !!!

  • hey man that was good wats with the rotoscoping stuff im new tro this all i know is that u can make it using sony vegas but wats rotoscoping mean?

  • Rotoscooping means editing a video frame by frame, which is used to add the lightsaber effect to the video.

  • all suked

  • hey give him a break man.. he did good

  • love that crazy smile at :22. XD

  • Cool rotoscoping but how'd you get fatter everytime? AE has a fat morphing filter too? I got AE CS3 and I just can't find that one.

  • how do you rotoscope a video

  • only thing I suck at rotoscoping is turn on's and off's could you help me with that ?

  • that's great :)

  • well done, and the 4th one was way well done, next i'd work rotoscoping out the blade when the light saber is off/powering up/powering down

i might get after effects soon :)

  • I see you have constructed a new lightsaber.

    Your skills are complete.

  • that was great man. my rotoscoping sucks curently

  • the lightsabers looked like dick the way you held them

  • Excellent stuff... but I'm SO glad I don't have to rotoscope...

LED sabers are where it's at, heheheh

  • how do you rotoscope?

  • good job dude! i have been tryingto do stuff like that

  • haha nice! gotta love the cheesy smile too, that is what adds to the realism!

  • how did you do the effects?

  • i love the fourth try...looks more real...did you use after effects for that?

  • Wow man cool lightsabre. I am thinking of making one! I like your style. Do you recommend starting small like you did or try and copying your lightsabre staff? It looks like there is a lot of personal experimenation invovled with each sabre. Wieghting and stuff. No matter where you end up.

  • LOL

    =R.
