It could be any program on a computer, such as Final Cut Pro or Windows Movie Maker. It doesn't have to be the camera.

Its called digital video editing.

You don't need a special "slow motion" camera. You can achieve that effect using many different cameras and you can slow it down as well in editing.

when you kick upwards your whole body goes upwards as wall, from what I perceive, that you cannot get form doing the jump facing the bar

jumping into the bar causing for center of gravity to change b/c you body was to go at the bar in a angle where as going backwards makes you want to get over the bar with momentum that why u jump with the foot farthest from the bar whilest you lean away for the arc and drive your knees to build momentum in that direction

I very much remember watching Dick Fosbury jumping this way in 1968 and incredibly clearing 6'8" at the time and listing to the stunned broadcasters. I made sure to stay up and watch him when it came his turn in Mexico City. Great thing ABC did, Jim McKay introduced him as the gold medal winner sitting down with his back to the camera! McKay said "Let me introduce you to the man who won the gold the same way he is sitting her, backward!" Dick Fosbury turned around, smiling. Great!
