Trailer dollies let you back trailers into very tight places where a truck could never get to. You can turn the dolly to 90 degrees in relation to the hitch. There aren't any vehicles that I know of that can do that (with the exception of very few gooseneck combinations).
No unit for planes yet... maybe in a year from now.
