Do you believe that your FUTURE sins are forgiven you simple because you believe Christ died on the cross for you? If you answer YES to this question, than I guess you are free to sin. But If you answer NO and say it's down to us to repent, well, people were repenting before the time of Christ, so, what's the point of Christ being crucified if our FUTURE sins are based on our repentance? Also if Jesus is God ( whoever has seen me has seen the father ) why does he pray before he is arrested?

@macktheknife888 Yea people were repenting before the time of christ but that didnt mean they were being forgiven...there was a different covenant then! (the old testament)

You know how gravity is a law that cant be broken? thats kinda how the old covenant was...

But cause God loves us sooo much & he wanted us to be forgiven so we could join him in heaven, he sent his only son to break that convenant, the blood of christ saved us.

its ur choice if u want to repent & ask for forgiveness :)

That's ok. theres white gospel, black gospel, even asian gospel...even if that really bends the ear... seriously though. God made all colors; it's not right to ignore the differences. What I like about this is the choir is doing their own interpretation of this old spiritual. Too many do a copy - usually a POOR copy- of the one in Sister Act. I loved Sister Act and the way it was done, but it disappoints when someone else just tries to copy instead of their own version.

The joy of spirituals is each performer can do hie/her own thing and it sounds great. At the same time, copying usually sounds terrible.
