  • I TOTALLY BUMPED INTO HIM AT SFO TONIGHT! TERMINAL 3 YO! *swoons*

  • Peter Gallagher is my hero...lol.....gotta love the attitude:)

  • Golden Globe winner and Tony nominee PETER GALLAGHER makes a rare San Francisco appearance and his West Coast cabaret debut with Bay Area Cabaret at The Venetian Room on SATURDAY - OCTOBER 22, 2011 with his critically acclaimed show "Songs and Stories" - talking about the films he's starred in, like "American Beauty", "sex, lies & videotape" and sings songs from some of the Broadway shows he's starred in, such as "Guys And Dolls". More info at Bay Area Cabaret web site

  • Anyone else have their day made entirley by the cheesy conductor singing along in his festive christmas sweater?

  • I think he's so overwhelmed by that amazing voice in the mornings while in the bathroom singing, that he forgets to brush his teeth

  • Fantastic....very nice!

  • This guy needs to brush his teeth!

  • @Mrcharlied98 I agree!!!

  • Anyone else notice some famous background singers:

Nathan Lane, David Hasselhoff, and JK Simmons

  • @blackjack90631 where is David Hasselhoff???

  • @curtainswoods

2:41 blue business shirt first row, next to Nathan Lane...

it might not be him but it definitely lokos like him :p

  • There used to be the video for the entire cast recording footage on here. But I can't find it anywhere now. What happened to it?

  • He almost sounds like Marlon Brando!

  • @petesgurl101 marlon brando isn't even half the singer this guy is.

  • @MasterJamesYoung GUYS AND DOLLS was not an MGM film. It was produced by Samuel Goldwyn Studios and DISTRIBUTED by MGM. Brando was NOT an MGM contract player. The rest about placing contract players was the case in the 1930s and 40s. By the 1950s, the studio system was breaking down, especially by the time the film version of GUYS AND DOLLS was made. So the contract player situation no longer applied in this sense.

  • Cor blimey! I NEVER knew Peter Gallagher could sing at all! let alone this well! Looks, acting talent & a gorgeous voice too! What style.

  • I would like to have seen the slower start with Peters voice... that would have mixed well with a ballad and up tempo core

  • I have to sing this for Auditions at my school xDD

  • there somethin about he's facial expression that makes me just watch his face while he sings!!!! lol

  • Nathan Lane is likely playing Nicely-Nicely Johnson. Did I see Doc Severinson in that trumpet section?

  • @Largo64 Actually Nathan Lane played Nathan Detroit.

  • @Largo64 Nathan Lane played Nathan Detroit, I have the album.

  • @MidniteBlackoutFilms Do you know if this cast did the show onstage as well? Nathan Lane would be a great Nathan Detroit, now that I think of it. Who played Nicely-Nicely? It was fun watching this studio session. Many years ago now I played Benny Southstreet in a dinner theater production. I've always enjoyed being around theater and actors.

  • @Largo64 I never got a chance to see the B'dway production. Walter Bobbie portrayed Nicely-Nicely. Just last summer, I was cast as Rusty Charlie, but instead played a policeman, Joey Biltmore, Liver-Lips Louie, and a Cuban. It was an awesome production, especially when we pulled it together in four weeks, due to scripts being late and many people dropping out of the cast. It was a workout, with me having a costume after every scene, but I had plenty of fun.

  • @Largo64 Yes- this recording is for the 1992 Broadway Revival in the 90s. Nathan did in fact play Nathan. Faith Prince got the Tony that year for her portrayal of Adelaide. Very good cast album- I highly recommend it if you enjoy this show, or this recording.

  • Is that Nathan Lane in the choir? With the moe

  • @jayc1842 Yeah, the floral shirt at 1:59. Hilarious!!!

  • Um holy crap he's got a great voice....

  • @loveismusic100 OMG I KNOW. WTFFFFFF :D But his voice is so great!

  • Byram Hills puts out the talent. Mr. Bissell knew how to teach music!!

  • That conductor is hilarious.

  • They should have done a remake of the film--he would have been perfect onscreen as well as onstage :) <3

  • Eyebrows. All about the eyebrows.

  • @Callummackenzietm SO TRUE HAHA!

  • hahaha I love this! This is great! :D

  • GO Sandy GO!!!

  • omg! I didn't know he sang too!

  • Nathan not Nathqn

  • @swimmingguy123 Its only a Type-o, chill out!

  • lol sorry i feel a need to correct myself

  • @swimmingguy123 haha s'all good man :)

  • I played Naqthan Detroit in this play at my High School, I love Guys and Dolls
