@mizztrude I was there with my wife (my girlfriend in that time), this was the first time I saw western band's concert in Hungary. It was huge show with incredible good sound quality. Although this happened 28 years ago, I still remember.

Saw the Earth Band in late 74 with Blue Oyster Cult headlining the bill.............Blue Oyster Cult was exccelemt but the Earth Band upstaged them. They were simply one of the best kive acts out there

The most egregious atrocity comitted on the Budapest album may have been the removal of this moog solo. Granted, it's a pretty good album, but it's a very poor representation of the concert. Thank heavens that they've made a DVD without the studio dubs and edits.

The lead guitarist (and vocalist)is Chris Thompson. I remember seeing this on "Rock Arena", a music show hosted by Glenn Shorrock (LRB)in the 80s here in Australia. Terrific guitar solo.
