i have goldfish 2 of them (with suckker) all fish i have are relly relly small maybe all about 1 inch 2 inches long(including suckker) how fast will they grow their in a 20 or 30 gallon tank and pretty clean water please someone helpz me!

Goldfish are hardy little guys. There's a pond at my college here in Pennsylvania where the Goldfish and Koi survive in a frozen pond in single digit temperatures! Cool video!

i love goldfish they are so cute. i have 4.. 2 big ones that eat a lot and gets scared easily, 1 black one that never likes to eat and is the smallest but never get scared and 1 spotted one its like a gymnastic fish, always swimming and spinning and turning like this mermaid thing its the ugly one in appearance but always acts so beautiful....and why does ur fish not flip when u held him up?

i had a goldfish that out grew the large tank we had he had to be moved to the pond

saddly he died a couple years later but he was huge and he was awesome

actually fish can breath air, they are just adapted for air to come to them, like in water, so when you take them out, less air comes to them, so they cant breathe,humans adapted to make air rush directly to the blood at any time, by filling up the lungs, however, technically we can breath underwater, but... you would end up dieing after the oxegen got to your blood, beacause the water would go with it

Usually when I try 2 capture my goldfish, they swim like bullets, and my bronze comet fish can hide itself in my fish tank, my goldfih hav grown big and fast and strong, when I take them out, SPLASH!

someone please help me! i have a pearlscale goldfish who was caught on the filter tube and i am estimating was stuck on for the whole day. his entire side is mangled and bloody. he can swim and breathe, but barely, and only swims with one side. i put in some melafix, and i will continue to do so as instructed. he is not eating, and is barely swimming. please help me. what should i do?

I don't mean to sound heartless but i guess his in a lot of pain if it was me i would put him in a bag with some of his tank water and take him to the nearest place that sells fish and ask there opinion which i think would be to put him out his misery if so ask them to do it that's what i have done in the past as i wanted it done as quickly and humanly as poss.

usually what they do is put it in a paper bag and slam it on the floor , thats what we had to do with my goldfish - its quick but you have to do it properly otherwise they end up just brain damaged and they can feel the next one

Well, a lot of my fish died from filter but that was only bcause i underfed them, they became weak and died then their bodies got stuck in the filter, u mite need 2 feed ur fish more. Pellets r good.
