umm, at that time i was using a realllllllllly crappy amp (10 watts) so i just turned the knob all the way up and didnt use any pedals except an equalizer pedal. but now i have a fender rumber 60 watt amp and i have 3 effects: Boss Bass Equalizer, Boss Bass Overdrive, and Ibanez Bass Synthesizer.

haha you and i use similar bass tones. mids all the way down and trebs all the way up for that gritty punk bass sound. fat mike's signature tone.
