  • Can someone please tell me what's the name of the theme that starts at 2:17?, it would be much appreciated. :)

  • Did they really miss the standard "Knight Theme" and "Inn/Shop Theme"? otherwise good tunes, good times :)

  • like i didnt just replay 4:00 fifty times >.>

  • @ImThaShhh me too hommie! lol

  • Personally this was the most underrated NES game ever. By far the best in the series too. :3

  • Farthest I ever got was 2nd costumes for all.

I never had the time for a straight playthrough, and there was no save function.

    Thank god for save-state emulators!

  • Man, that unused music would have been great as the dragon battle theme. Or an ending theme even.

  • the music is the best at 2:50

  • @msbackindadayz

It's an unknown track from the original album never made it to the actual game.

  • @Roymungus

What original album? Where do I find more information about this? How did the video creator learn about it?

  • @Brewzkier

Coz I found a website that hosts all the tracks from the game and that track one was one of them. He probably got them from there. Google the website "khinsider" and go to the game soundtracks section :)

  • @Roymungus

Cool, thanks. I actually found it after a few minutes of searching.

I wonder where these were found? I'm guessing they were buried in the actual game data, somewhere, and were never programmed in. Too bad, the one at 3:56 is awesome.

  • @Brewzkier

I figured as much. But yeah I wonder about them too how people get them. And yes 3:56 is awesome!

  • I don't think the song at 3:56 is in the game. Did you make a mistake and insert a song from another game?

If so, could you let me know what game that is from?

  • Good upload, expect it's missing the princesses' theme song... The one which plays when you discover the hidden princesses and whence they promptly ask you to marry them.

  • 3rd Wizard trial was so annoying... and the knight trials, to a much lesser extent... the ending is the least satisfying ending ever, though...

  • haha funky dancing at 2:00

  • The most merciful of the W&W series, except the 3rd Wizard trial and final boss...

  • 3rd Wizard test =frustrating memories. :)

I love the thieves guild music to death.

  • The choice of colors of that game suck!

  • cool

  • Could you tell me whats the name of the song that starts at 3:56? Or the name of the level where it plays? I can't find a soundtrack with the songs separated...

  • What a Great Collection, Wizard & Warriors the NES Trilogy was so great ! Nice gameplay, and we always loved these tunes ... Garudoh ..Yo life is hard, for alot of people thanks for reminding me of goodtimes. One luv

  • sick 8bit music

  • i have beaten this game many times, but i never get to know what the ending is about XD he defeats malkil and then jumps in to a colorfull thing and lands in the future XD .. but i guess.. video games does not have to make any sence..

  • doesn't even come close to the 2nd one... 1st one has better music, too

  • @regresseur I disagree. I think the third one has the best music. Title theme, Game Over/Final Battle/Ending theme, Pause music (great Rare staple btw), Castle Inn, all the class theme songs, it's all good.

  • you can tell the composer worked on battle toads too.

  • It'll be dark by nightfall.

  • Much as I like the music, i think the awkward character animations are the best part of this game. That crouch-walk is hilarious looking!

  • I looked around and noticed none of the awesome individual tracks to this game are on youtube. T_T

  • it's a shame ;_;

  • I know, right?

  • As a kid, I always thought this series was way too hard- it's cool to see someone actually playing this game well!

  • I played this game for HOURS on the weekends - awesome game!

  • GOD dam ,i own this game and i hate it so much as a kid...

  • blasphemy

  • Still, this music comes up in my head every once in a while. I adooooore the soundtrack of this game! I wish there were bands who could rerecord them as rock/metal-tracks!! :)

  • in fact, there are some bands (not metal though) that make awesome covers os NES games: NESkimos and The Advantage. You should give them a try.

  • I hate to say it, but I was extremely underimpressed by the music in this game. It's not bad, but compared to the original and Ironsword which had some of the most memorable themes in NES history and already set the bar extremely high, what happened with this installment?!

  • Wizards and Warriors I sucked shit.

  • Well I guess you can't please everyone :]

  • @sorcerykid

Back then programmers didnt realise the true impact a music score would have on out tender synapses

  • I've never heard the one that starts at 3:56. Where does that song play?

  • as you enter the higher castle, where all the jewels are, its probably my favorite out of the game

  • the music in this one is great :D

it is fancy ^^ also the games is kind of cool :D

  • dude i played this game when i was like 6 years old and i fuckin loved this game

  • same here.... good times good times

  • When do you hear the music at 4:00 in the game?

There are a few other ones not in this movie which I have never heard in the game itself.

  • I wish they'd make wizards and warriors 4 for the DS

  • David Wise is a genius.

  • This game had the best end ever... I mean, if you chose to join with the king, he'd just kill you, lol. It was great... And frustrating the first time I found that out, lol.

  • cool.

i made a techno remix of the title song, the game over song, and the wizard theme. they are on my channel so check em out and tell me what ya think.

  • 2:52 till the end : reminds me to solar jetman. Nice music!

  • THANK YOU Garudoh for this video!

Wizards & Warriors III has the BEST music, more than any other video game I've come across.

    Again, thanks mate! :D

  • I would play Wizards & Warriors III for 7 hours straight.

    THE BEST MUSIC.

I've actually taped the music years ago and listened to it on my minidisc walkman to work.

Thank you for putting this together on YouTube. You're a legend

  • where in the game does it play the song at 2:18? cause ive never heard it on W&W 3, and i was playing the game the other day

  • You hear that when you visit the blacksmiths in the castle!

  • @vikingmetal99

It is, of course, a remix of the original W&W main title theme.

  • I remember finally getting to the end and choosing to join Malkil on my last life. It took a lot of determination to finally get back and beat him (particularly as the game had no password or save option).

  • I freaking loved this game as a kid!

  • its not that your vids arent great its that there are soo many of them and only big fans would watch every single 1. Like me

  • This one by far is my favorite W&W game. Also, the gameboy one is worth playing alone because the theme song is absolutely INCREDIBLE.

  • you know i like wizards and warriors one more than this

  • This music is slightly different than the music i had in this game

  • The songs at 2:53 and 3:56 are badass! The second one especially. I can hear a touch of DKC in it... :D

  • this was my fav game as a kid! thanks for the vid brang back memories

  • man the song that starts at 3:56 is amazing!

  • Kinda reminds me RC Pro Am which isn't bad at all!

  • Where in the game is the music starting from 3:56? I've finished the whole game with an emulator and never heard this awesome music.

  • Never knew they came out with a third one, & I can understand why. They really tore apart what they built up with the first two, especially the music. And that dumb pose you make when you get an item, ridiculous! The wizard form made me think of Bobbin Threadbare. =P

  • I've never gotten far in this game, but the general consensus is that this is an huge improvement over WW2:Ironsword (which ironically is my favorite in the series). As for the music, idk it's the same composer. I find it interesting that not only has this series completely vanished from the minds of it's creators, but that everyone forgets the Gameboy game as well.

  • I might have been too judgmental about the game. The reason the game is different is probably because it came out in 1992, when games have become more advanced with the popularity of RPGs, so obviously they were trying something different along that line, but that's just a guess. The music isn't that bad, actually, but it is different than the first two. I wasn't really into the series anyways, so I definently wouldn't have known about the GB version. Thanks for the response, though.

  • This is just a weird series anyway. Some of the platforming is pretty fun, and the music is good, but these games have like one of the worst sword attacks in the history of video games.

  • I support a modern version of the game. It would be awesome.

  • Definately, I'd love to see Rare return to it's roots, they had a lot of great games even before they became a part of Nintendo or Microsoft.

  • i think w&w3 lost what made it fun :/

  • dopeness!

  • You know, by the way, I could have sworn that the ending of this game was all the Princesses beat you up because you promised to marry all of them, but when I finished this on my emulator recently, all it had was him falling through the portal and such.

  • My favorite is the Malkil fight music.

  • Wait, no comments? Damn shame!

Thank you so much for uploading, the world need to remeber pro music!
