Yes, it can be filtered with a regular coffee filter. It is very insoluble. It requires lots of purifying with distilled water in order to remove sodium ions, and because Cu-benzoate is flaky, it takes a considerable ammount of time.
Man, You need to go for a school of cameras to pick up the correct refractive index!

@Tharosa1942 It's not a movie camera and you can't lock the focus. It's not my fault the software inside is shifting the focus all the time.

I made a lot of copper-benzoate, it is easy to make, but it is a really toxic stuff. If you eat 1-2 gramms you can die. Not joke.
