I agree. My ancestry traces back to Beijing, we used to have a large traditional household there that was possessed, and I hate to see our traditional culture being destroyed. However, the white devil needs to stay out of our business, you have no right to criticize or comment when you're the one that brought us down to the state of poverty that we're just coming out of after 150 years.

The thing about westerners (most of them, especially their media) stating their opinion about China is that they just rant about the negative side of China (in their point of view), but offer no suggestion or solution... try giving some suggestion and ideas... (will make them "seems" more moderate and unbiased..

Beijing's urban planning since the 1950s has been a complete failure. Many ancient, traditional houses and buildings have been destroyed to make way for modernization. The communist people don't realize that they were destroying their country's cultural heritage.

Westerners just always have a fantasy that China is better as poor as possible and as undeveloped as possible so that they can enjoy their superior status and have the good feeling that they are modernised and China is just a place of an old country with people living as they did hundreds of years ago. BTW, that old poor man just hates CCP, haha.

I don't like what the way the local government deal with the development of the cities in China. However, I want to tell the westerners, stop judge people when you are actually living outside the their sphere! Put yourself in the shoes, would you live in an old house without a flushing toilet, modern kitchen? would you live in a suburb or community which has no planning at all? even no firemen can reach your house in a fire emergence? if your answer is no, then PLS SHUT THE F**K UP!
