Definitely amazed with the way you guys managed to pull the CGI off with such a low budget. The only bad thing I can say about it is the music score is louder then the voices.

Must have had a great DOP And Director for this film. Timing and shots were bang on. CGI for the guns could have used a bit of color grading but a totally suspenseful and solid adventure overall!

The soundtrack, acting, CGI... just everything seems to be made of magic or something.

This is short film at its astonishing best. What a absolutely amazing movie. There isn't one fault to be found. Just the production alone was astounding, considering the small budget, especially the CGI shots. I truly have to commend everyone involved in its production for pulling off what most companies in Hollywood even can't. Excellent work.

I came across your film by way of the Process Diary. I started out snickering at the slightly campy start but somewhere after that I realized I was along for the ride. Great work wish there were more shows like this on my TV. I came across your film by way of the Process Diary what a great find.

I'm not a fan of fantasy or steampunk generally, but there was enough 'meat' in here to keep me entertained from a craft and execution point of view that I forgot I was watching a film of the genre.

Terrific, team. The music is wonderful, the CG is fantastic, and the locations magnificent. Can't believe you did this on a bare bones budget, and off your own backs.

Simply amazing. Great production design! Very consistent and satisfying. God bless your armorer for overseeing good use of single-shot firearms, and your sound designer for making them sound right! Costume design: fabulous. This is like "Firefly" in an alternate 19th century instead of outer space. Brilliant.

This is really amazing.

The music is brilliant the CGI is very good, especially the mixing of real world and CG together.

The location work is really fantastic.

I am surprised this was only $1800, it looks like you spent a lot more on this, especially consider this is 30 minutes long. Though everyone looks very dedicated, they're all great actors!

I really hope to see more of this, we don't exactly see a lot of for adults science fiction/fantasy film/TV in Australia.

Did the Pirates of the Caribbean pistols end up being used in the film?

Most of the pistols in the film are plastic 'Jack Sparrow' guns that were bought in bulk and repainted in layers to look like real weapons. In Pirates of the Caribbean his weapon is an old antique, in our film they cost $10 including paint. If you see Johnny Depp around the place let him know we have a good solution to reducing the budget.

I can't even tell you how good the scenes were, because they looked so perfect. Also the 3D looked so realistic, it was like I was watching a Hollywood movie! :P
