I grew up in a Glasgow tenement too, happy days, honestly!!!! Real characters lived in them until they were pulled down and people were rehoused in new flats. Community life died.

@DavidAKZ I was a kid when i lived in the Glasgow tenements but have to say that those of us lucky enough not to end up in a flat (like my family who moved to a new built town) were able to continue the community way of life and I now live in a fab village in Scotland alongside wonderful, real people :)
