@DeadlyDark0 If you have windows vista or windows 7, you have a copy of Windows Movie maker. It is what I used to edit the clips together, add music and add the text over the scenes.

@craphunter You just need to enter cheat mode, and one of the commands will allow you to get a free floating camera and you can zoom around.

Thank you, it wasn't the easiest of things to make due to the limitations of the game engine... but I pulled off what I was trying to do.

There was a console command that was part of the cheat menu that let you move the camera around like this in the game.

I can't remember for the life of me what it was, but you can ask on the offical forums and I am sure someone can help you.

And the camera angles? Well, those are just shots i set up that would be cinematic... alot of trial and error. =]

I particularly liked the shot at 5:06 where the camera flies overhhead and also the day / night right transition at around 5:30.

I suggest just jumping into a project and learning what you can with Movie maker and fraps. It is very easy, just try to have a good idea for a plot that interesting.

Ah I have used windows movie maker before with some WoW movies. I don't play WoW anymore though. I was just wondering because there are other programs that can do this. They are more advanced I think.

Probably as basic as your can be when making game vids.

1.) Free Version of FRAPs for ingame video. Fraps, the free trial forever kind, lets you record up to full 30 second clips.

2.) Windows Movie Maker that came with vista 64x. It is very easy to learn and came with xp too I think? All you do is create a project folder in and drag components like clips, songs in. The you can add special effects and cut and trim. Its very simple.

3.) .wav music from movie soundtracks.

Well, what is holding you back? Fraps is free download, which is what i used. Is it an issue of your computer hardware or what?

i think its the 30 second limit the trial has, and he doesnt want to buy Fraps.

Well I used the trial version for all of my vids. Just have to compress alot of action and then cut them together into a whole. No big deal. =/
